Tracy Murphy: Today- I went to my 6 month check up with my oncologist. I had a great report of No Evidence of Disease!! I'm almost 3 years since completion of chemotherapy and I am doing great! While I was there, my doctor told me about this study on liquid biopsies. This study is "game changing" according to her. She is excited that there will be a simple blood test that will indicate cancer at early stages- therefore helping fight cancer during the treatable stages! Continue to please donate to cancer research and even look to be part of cancer trials in your area- together, we can fight and win this war in cancer!

An NCI Cancer Currents blog about a study which showed that a so-called liquid biopsy produced results highly similar to those of traditional tumor biopsies.

Tables of Hope luncheon is a designer table event benefiting the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. All funds from this event are raised to support breast cancer research and programs through the American Cancer Society.
Besides the gorgeous tables that will be decorated by our amazing hosts and hostesses, there will be a beautiful photo area for you and your guests, and more! Please encourage your guests to arrive at 10:45 am so they can take full advantage of all the activities prior to the lunch and program. Newly diagnosed breast cancer survivors are FREE. (diagnosed in 2016)
