Wings of Hope was founded in 1996 to provide inclusion for those with disabilities, specifically for children and adults with physical, mental or emotional challenges through the partnership of a horse. The partnership of a horse allows those with disabilities the opportunity to explore new ways to navigate independence, to gain tools and skills to sharpen and enhance abilities, to discover streng

ths and address challenges. We serve as an advocate for meeting individuals for where they are in life with a focus on abilities rather than disabilities.

🫧🐴WISHLIST WEDNESDAY: SHAMPOO, PLEASE!🐴🫧

Lessons are starting back soon, and Texas summer isn’t quite finished with us yet! ☀️

On days when it’s simply too hot to spend a full lesson in the saddle, our instructors love finding other ways for clients to learn, connect, and spend time with their equine partners, and sometimes that means treating one of our horses to a nice, cool bath! 💦

It’s a great way to practice horsemanship skills, build connection, and send a therapy partner back to the pasture clean as a whistle. ✨🐎 (at least until they reach their favorite spot to roll in🤣)

Okay, okay… we know we're a little late. 🤠

But after the kind of night we shared at Round-Up for Riders, we figured everyone deserved a little time to rest, recover, and soak it all in. ❤️

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.

Thank you to every person who walked through those doors. To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, bidder, community partner, friend, and supporter who chose to spend their Friday night celebrating 30 years of Wings of Hope with us.

Thank you for raising your paddles.
For bidding (and maybe bidding just one more time 😉).
For buying raffle tickets, tossing ducks, playing along, cheering loudly, and filling that room with so much joy.

But more than anything, thank you for believing in this mission.

For 30 years, Wings of Hope has been changing lives through the healing power of equine-assisted services — and Friday night was a beautiful reminder that we have never done it alone.

This community continues to show up.

After months of planning, dreaming, gathering donations, and watching this incredible community show up in ways that continue to amaze us... Round-Up for Riders is finally here.

To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, auction donor, community partner, and every single person who chose to say "yes" to Wings of Hope, thank you. You are the reason tonight is possible, and more importantly, you're the reason lives continue to be changed every day.

Reason #1: Because every client deserves someone who believes in them.

Before the confidence...

Before the independence...

Before the milestones...

Someone has to believe they're possible.

At Wings of Hope, we believe in every client who walks through our gates, sometimes even before they believe in themselves.

We believe in the child finding their voice.

The veteran rediscovering purpose.

The adult overcoming fear.

The family searching for hope.

Sometimes it's a child saying their first words.

Sometimes it's taking a first independent step.

Sometimes it's finding the confidence to look someone in the eye... or believing in yourself for the very first time.

Those moments don't happen by accident.

They happen because someone chose to give.
Someone chose to volunteer.
Someone chose to show up.

For 30 years, Wings of Hope has never been just about horses.

It's been about neighbors helping neighbors.
Businesses stepping up.
Volunteers giving their time.
Families cheering each other on.
And a community that continues to say "yes" whenever it's needed most.

🌟Reason #4: Because hope is waiting at the end of the driveway.🌟

For some, it's just another place to pull into.

For others, it's the place where anxiety starts to quiet down.
Where confidence begins to grow.
Where challenges become victories.
Where they're greeted by a horse that somehow always knows exactly what they need.

Every week, families make the drive to Wings of Hope knowing that when they turn down that driveway, they're coming to a place where they're accepted, encouraged, and reminded that anything is possible.
