Tampa Bay is projected to add more than 564,000 new residents by 2035, while the region faces a significant shortage of attainable housing. Those challenges cannot be solved by any one organization alone.

That's why Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside is proud to support Tampa Bay Rising, a new regional initiative by the Tampa Bay Partnership, bringing together leaders from across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties to develop collaborative solutions around housing, transportation, and workforce development. Mike Sutton, our President & CEO, is serving as co-chair of this effort and helping ensure affordable homeownership remains part of the region's long-term vision for prosperity.

Earlier this week, a kickoff convened over 100 business, nonprofit, and elected leaders to advance a regional conversation about three issues deeply connected to our economic future: housing, transportation and workforce. Together, we can create a stronger, more connected Tampa Bay where more families have access to opportunity.
