At Kings Highway Elementary, our 4th- and 5th-grade girl mentees joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day through meaningful Lunch Pals mentorship activities. With creativity and care, they made heartfelt cards, shared many reasons they are thankful for their mothers, and strengthened important social skills through fun, interactive games. As part of this special celebration, the girls also extended kindness beyond the classroom by hosting an outreach project for homebound elderly ladies, thoughtfully preparing cards and handmade crafts as gifts. We are incredibly proud of their academic progress, strong attendance, and determination during state testing. Their hard work, compassion, and growth continue to shine, and we wish all our families a joyful and love-filled Mother’s Day weekend!

At Sanday Lane Elementary, our 3rd- 4th- and 5th-grade girl mentees participated in Lunch Pals mentorship activities centered on celebrating Mother’s Day. Students created Mother’s Day cards and shared thoughtful reflections about their mothers and the reasons they are grateful for them. Mentees also engaged in interactive games designed to strengthen coping strategies and social skills. In recognition of their participation, academic progress, and attendance, students received prizes and awards. We also applaud their hard work and dedication during state testing. As the weekend approaches, mentees were encouraged to spend meaningful time with their mothers and loved ones in celebration of Mother’s Day.

We are thrilled about our day at the Sandy Lane Elementary Lunch Pals!

Our activities centered around strengthen relationships while engaging development games and communication skills worksheets.

We held a round table discussions to explore our positive words this week- terrific and teamwork. Which help us in meaningful experiences to connect and build lasting bonds.

Our aim is to provide strong connections, learning, and mutual support.
