Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men. - Psalm 107:8

Dear Partners and Friends,
This month’s prayer call will reflect on these two scripture verses that beautifully capture the heart of the 100 Shares Tampa Bay ministry.

The verses remind us of God’s call to care for those in need, to live with open hands, and to generously share the blessings He has entrusted to us. They reflect our ongoing commitment to serving the less fortunate in our communities and partnering together to make a meaningful difference.

As we look back with gratitude on the past 12 years of ministry, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and for all He has accomplished through the generosity, compassion, and dedication of our partners. We are continually encouraged by the impact people can make when they unite around a common purpose.

Dear 100 Shares Partners and Friends,
I am immensely grateful for the events that unfolded yesterday at our 2026 Spring Awards Luncheon. Gratitude. A simple word… but today it feels like it needs fireworks, confetti cannons, and maybe even a marching band. Ooh! Maybe we will have a marching band at our next luncheon! Ok maybe not.
But, my heart is overflowing with thankfulness to the Lord — the kind of gratitude where, honestly, the stones would cry out if we didn’t praise His name. When I look at what God has done through this community of partners, I am amazed… and deeply, deeply grateful.
Partners, we are so grateful for your partnership gifts and in addition, we are grateful for all of those who made extra blessing gifts. This was a milestone year for us because you all gave over $40,000 in extra blessing gifts! The blessing of your biblical generosity? We awarded three grants today at the Spring Awards luncheon totaling almost $220,000!!!
So thankful that in God’s economy, His math is always better than mine.

This year’s grant recipients are:
🧡A Door of Hope Grant Awarded: $100,000
Grant Purpose: To license 15 Christ-centered foster homes and provide Christian mental health counseling for 41 foster children to support placement stability and holistic healing.

🧡Isaiah 117 House Hillsborough Grant Awarded: $70,000
Grant Purpose: To completely furnish, fill and stock the Isaiah 117 House of Hillsborough County. Estimated construction phase of home: August 2025-May 2026

🧡New Life Warehouse Grant Awarded: $49,980
Grant Purpose: To provide dignity and housing stability to children in the Tampa Bay area by providing 340 twin beds for children who have transitioned out of homelessness with their families but are currently sleeping on the floor.

Thank you — each one of you — for responding however God called you to respond. He has done great and mighty things through this tight-knit, joy-filled, generous community!
And thank you for the privilege of serving as Chair these last two years. It has been an immense privilege and I have truly had the time of my life. I’m joining the esteemed “rockin’ chairs” club now, but you are in phenomenal hands.
God has called Carol Pilkington to lead us into this next season, and I hope you will love her, support her, and pray for her the same way you have for me.

Dear Friends,

The 2026 100 Shares Tampa Bay Spring Awards Luncheon is more than an event to attend. It is a celebration and without YOU it is not complete!
Friday, April 24th is a time to give testimony and witness how God will multiply our offerings. Together we will praise Him for His abundance, His provision, and His heart for the ministries serving our community. Come expectant as we celebrate what He has done and what He is about to do through faithful giving and shared purpose.
Join us for a bite to eat, a time of fellowship, and a spirit-filled gathering of rejoicing, worship, and reflection. Be encouraged and energized in the Kingdom of God as we come together in unity and gratitude. We look forward to sharing this meaningful time with you as we celebrate God’s goodness and His continued work among us.

I am delighted to invite you to our 2026 Spring Luncheon, a joyful celebration of God’s faithfulness and the impact He continues to make through the generosity of our 100 Shares Tampa Bay community. This gathering is always a highlight of our year, and I would love for you to be part of it.

As you register, would you prayerfully consider bringing guests who might be encouraged by the mission and ministry of 100 Shares? This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce others to the joy of biblical generosity and the work God is doing through our partners and grant recipients. Invite your husband, sisters, daughters, Bible study friends, neighbors, or anyone the Lord brings to mind. Every guest adds to the celebration and fellowship of the day.

Our luncheon is more than an event—it is a testimony to God’s abundance, His provision, and His heart for our community. When we gather, we get to witness firsthand how He multiplies what we offer back to Him. I cannot wait to celebrate that with you!

We will praise and thank the Lord for the unchanging Truth of this verse.

~Look back and celebrate His faithfulness over the past 12 years of 100 Shares Tampa Bay.
~Give thanks for today, trusting His steady hand as He guides the board in discerning the
grant decisions before them.
~The same faithful God who led at the beginning is leading now - and will continue to lead
in the days ahead.
