Today, the Pasco Recovery Round Table met at a new location where we discussed the potentially upcoming First United Methodist Church of Hudson cold night shelter. Proud to share that numerous members of the Recovery community, individuals and programs, volunteered to support this effort.

We also outlined the beginnings of a community effort to address transportation, recovery housing, and direct peer support in a way that would fairly benefit Pasco and most importantly the participants.

More will be revealed soon, but overall a good day for community organizing efforts. Very grateful to Help Us Help You for opening their doors to the Recovery Round Table.

Recovery Epicenter Foundation invites you to be a part of the Pasco Recovery Round Table, where we share program updates, discuss ways to improve the substance use disorder continuum of care, connect new members to services, and work to close gaps in the system of care.

Going strong since 2022, this community resource guides and empowers homeless outreach programs, narcan distribution, housing initiatives, and has directly contributed to a reduction in the number of overdose deaths throughout the county.

Welcome to the Beloved Community Cafe at 1940 Central Ave St. Petersburg Florida 33712. Daily, from 10am -2pm, the Good Samaritan Church Pinellas Park provides a pay what you can Community meal. And, if you need substance use disorder support services, we are proud to provide the West Coast of Florida's first Recovery Café Network peer support service from 3pm-7pm.

Please join us on August 31st for our grand opening, and art exhibit, where recovery artists will showcase their work alongside the Pinellas Drug Court participants. Together, we will honor Overdose Awareness Day and celebrate this new recovery resource for the city of St. Petersburg and Pinellas county.

Calling all Recovery Champions throughout Tampa Bay.

On August 31st, Recovery Epicenter Foundation invites you to the Beloved Community Café, a Recovery Community Center located at 1940 Central Ave, St. Petersburg Florida. In partnership with Good Samaritan Church and the Recovery Cafe Network, this center will host a pay what you can Community café daily from 10am - 2pm, and a peer supported Recovery Community Center from 3pm - 7pm.

To introduce this new community resource we're hosting an overdose awareness event in collaboration with Pinellas County's Problem solving court. At the event, from 5pm - 8pm participants of the drug courts will share their artwork and stories of survival alongside peers and community members.

Food and drinks provided.

We look forward to honoring those we've lost to the opioid epidemic at the Beloved Community Cafe, surrounded by survivors and showcasing the work of our local drug court. We hope you'll join us. That you'll learn more about the café. Continue to do the important work of raising awareness of the dangers associated with active use, and as we transition into Recovery Month, to highlight the survival and truth that recovery is possible for everyone.
