Egret Housing is located near Main Street in New Port Richey, FL. All units are ADA-compliant, with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a patio.

A little rain didn’t get in the way of an incredible day of welcoming! 🌧️

In September, libraries across Pinellas County came together to collect household essentials for newcomers to our community in honor of Welcoming Week. This year’s collection was extra special as we celebrated 10 years of helping neighbors in need. 📚

And what a milestone it was! This year, the libraries collected a record-breaking 217 baskets of essential goods, bringing the 10-year total to more than 1,400 baskets!

After a morning of carrying baskets and loading cars full of donations, these essentials are now on their way to help our clients as they settle into their new communities. 💙

Thank you to Safety Harbor Public Library, Largo Public Library, Palm Harbor Library, Barbara S Ponce Public Library of Pinellas Park, and everyone who helped make this year’s collection such a success!

Child Welfare Workforce Development Month continues! Today, we’re introducing you to two of our Stabilization Counselors, Marie and Paulina.

Marie began her journey with plans to become a lawyer. After quickly realizing law wasn’t the right path for her, she found her calling in helping children and families.

Paulina has always known she wanted to help others. After earning her undergraduate degree in sociology, she continued her education and is now pursuing her master’s degree in social work.

While their paths to child welfare look very different, they share the same commitment: helping children feel safe and families feel supported and stable 💙
