After days of rain and stormy weather here in Phoenix, the clouds finally parted and the sun came out just in time for one of our favorite evenings… BIRTHDAY NIGHT! 🎂🎉

Life can bring so many storms, especially for our friends experiencing homelessness. But sometimes a warm meal, a friendly smile, a little laughter, and knowing someone cares can bring a ray of sunshine into even the darkest days. ❤️

Tonight we celebrated all our October birthdays with a delicious cake and ice cream, lovingly provided by our wonderful volunteer Dave! Thank you, Dave, and your friends and family for coming down to help serve and make everyone feel so special! 🎂🍦❤️

Our dinner included sandwiches, a yummy salad made by Pam, chips, fresh fruit, plenty of snacks, and cold water and sodas.

We were also blessed with thoughtful hygiene kits assembled in new water bottles by the American Heritage Girls club! Thank you, girls, for taking the time to put together these special gifts for our friends! ❤️ We had lots of donated clothing available, and we didn’t forget our four-legged friends either! There was dog food for all those precious pups who bring so much companionship and unconditional love to their owners. 🐾❤️

At Trevor’s Vision, birthdays aren’t just about cake and candles. They’re about reminding someone that their life matters, they are remembered, and they deserve to be celebrated. Everyone deserves to feel special on their birthday.

We can’t stop every storm someone faces in life, but together, we can help bring a little light into their world. ☀️❤️

This week we were able to help some of our friends experiencing homelessness get the critical dental care they needed. Treatments included extractions to relieve pain and prevent infection, and molds for dentures. THANK YOU ⚕️ Midwestern University | Tomorrow’s Healthcare Team and of course thank you Mara for coming up with the box of dreams so we could identify the needs of our community and help make their dreams become reality. As always Trevor’s Vision is about much more than a meal. 🍽️

✨❤️ Sometimes even the smallest light can brighten the darkest days. ❤️✨

We never really know what someone else is going through. Sometimes all it takes is a warm meal, a friendly smile, a kind word, or a little reminder that someone cares to bring a bit of light into their world. ❤️

Last night at Trevor’s Vision, we had another wonderful evening of food, friendship, and kindness as we celebrated Mara’s monthly Pizza Night! 🍕❤️

A HUGE thank you to VACO for sponsoring our delicious pizza dinner and sending volunteers to help serve our homeless friends! Your generosity and willingness to give your time mean so much to our community! ❤️

It was also another very special night for Mara’s Box of Dreams program! 💜✨

This month’s gift was something simple but incredibly meaningful. Our guests received their very own dream journals, along with pens and inspirational stickers. Volunteers filled the inside covers with encouraging words, beautiful drawings, and heartfelt messages of hope.

Messages reminding them to DREAM BIG, never give up, and most importantly, that they are not forgotten, they are not alone, and their dreams still matter. ❤️

What a beautiful reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be something grand to make a difference. Sometimes a few handwritten words can give someone the encouragement to keep going, to keep believing, and to see a little hope in tomorrow. ✨

At Trevor’s Vision, we may not be able to change someone’s entire world in one evening, but we CAN make their world a little brighter, one Wednesday night at a time. ❤️

Sometimes all it takes is one small spark — a warm meal, a smile, a kind word, or simply knowing someone cares — to give a person enough light to keep going. ❤️

Last night, after days of storms, the sun finally came back out in Phoenix… and we gathered again at Trevor’s Vision hoping to be a little bit of that sunshine for our homeless friends.

It was open-faced burrito night! Jodi made the taco beef and beans, Teresa made Mexican rice, Pam chopped all the onions and lettuce, and Jeff brought the tortillas and all the toppings. Everyone pitched in, bringing fruit, snacks, sandwiches, sodas and water, just like we do every Wednesday, to create a hot meal and a place where people can sit down, feel welcome and know they matter.

We may not be able to change everything someone is facing, but we can show up. We can feed them. We can listen. We can care. And maybe, on a difficult day, we can be that little spark that reminds someone not to give up. ✨

After the storm comes the sunshine… and we hope Trevor’s Vision can always be a little light in someone’s week. ❤️🙏

🍂 An Island of Kindness in a World of Storms ❤️

Last night at Trevor’s Vision, we welcomed Fall with warm hearts, a delicious meal, and a whole lot of love!

Misty made her famous breakfast for dinner, and Jody brought her yummy cheesy potatoes! We served it all up with fresh fruit, wrapped snacks, PB&J’s, fresh baked cookies, cold water, and sodas. A huge table of donated clothing was available for our friends, along with dental hygiene kits from Delta Dental. A special thank you to Amanda for bringing the cutest little crocheted baggies of soap! ❤️

As we gathered together last night, we enjoyed the calm before the storm that blew into Phoenix early this morning.

For our friends experiencing homelessness, a storm means so much more than a change in the weather. It can mean another night searching for shelter, warmth, and a safe place to rest.

We hope every one of our friends found a dry place to spend the night. 🙏

At Trevor’s Vision, we hope to be an island in the storms of life. A place where our friends can come in from the world outside, enjoy a warm meal, share a smile, find community, and know that someone cares.

We may not be able to shelter everyone from every storm, but for a couple hours each Wednesday evening, we can offer a place where no one has to feel alone.

Thank you to every volunteer and donor who helps make this little island of love and kindness possible. Together, we are making a difference, one meal, one smile, and one Wednesday at a time. ❤️.

🌧️ Rain or shine, Wednesdays are Trevor’s Vision nights! 💜

Yesterday was one of those crazy stormy Phoenix days with flooded roads all over the Valley, but that didn’t stop our volunteers from making their way downtown to serve more than 130 of our homeless friends and their pets.

And once everyone was inside, it was all about good food, warm smiles and community. ❤️

This week we had a delicious Asian-themed dinner with teriyaki meatballs made by Dawn, rice and Chinese chicken salad made by Teresa, and hot veggies made by Jodi, along with fruit, PB&J’s, wrapped snacks, desserts, cold sodas and plenty of water. We also had a table full of donated clothing for anyone who needed it.

One of the things we love most is that every single week, everyone simply chips in. Someone makes a dish, someone brings snacks, fruit, desserts or drinks, someone donates clothing, and others come ready to serve. Put it all together and somehow we have a wonderful dinner and a place to gather for our friends each Wednesday night.

The weather outside may have been a little wild, but inside there was plenty of warmth. 💜

Rain or shine, we’ll keep showing up.

Last night was Mara’s big Climb for Phoenix fundraiser benefiting Trevor’s Vision, and what an incredible night it was! 🧗‍♀️💜

We were blown away by the number of people who came out to support Mara, enjoy some climbing, eat delicious pizza, and just have a great time together! Thank Re Di Roma Wood Fired Pizza Food Truck for coming and donating a percentage of sales to Trevor’s Vision last night! 🍕🍕❤️❤️

A huge thank you to Gecko Climbing Gym in North Phoenix for hosting such a wonderful event. With climbing for all different ability levels and so many fun fitness opportunities, it was the perfect setting for a night centered around community and giving back.

Mara and her family put countless hours into making this event happen — pounding the pavement, gathering donations and putting together an AMAZING assortment of raffle baskets. There was even a fun photo booth generously donated by Impact DJ! 📸❤️

Most importantly, the evening raised money for Trevor’s Vision and collected much-needed shoes and underwear for our weekly shower trailer, helping us continue to provide dignity, care and basic necessities to our friends experiencing homelessness.

We are so incredibly blessed to have Mara and her family as part of our Trevor’s Vision family. Mara has such a heart for helping others, and watching our community come together to support her mission was truly something special.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, climbed, bought raffle tickets, brought supplies or simply came out to support this amazing young lady and Trevor’s Vision.

Mara, we are so proud of you. Thank you for using your heart to make a difference. 💜❤️

This is a SUCCESS STORY from “Trevor’s Vision East”!! We LOOOOOVE these stories ❤️🙏

On my way home from our serve today, I stopped at my neighborhood Publix. Out of nowhere, I heard someone calling my name. I turned around and instantly recognized him—one of our regular guests who I hadn't seen in a while.

He came right up to me, looked me in the eyes, and thanked me for every meal we’d ever handed him. Then came the words every one of us prays to hear: "I’m not homeless anymore."

Before I could even process the joy of that moment, he pulled out a folded $20 bill and pressed it into my hands, asking me to use it toward our next serve.

My immediate instinct was to refuse—I couldn't take money from someone who had fought so hard to get back on his feet. But as I looked at him, I stopped. To refuse would be to strip away the pride radiating off him. This wasn't just twenty dollars. This was a man using his very first taste of financial stability to pull someone else up behind him. It was a complete, beautiful full-circle moment of dignity, hope, and grace.

I took the bill, held it tight, and thanked him from the bottom of my heart. This $20 isn't just money for food—it's absolute proof that what we do matters.

Tonight was volunteer Mara’s fundraiser for Trevor’s Vision at Barrio Brewing Company. So great seeing so many come out to have some dinner, socialize and support Trevor’s Vision! So appreciative of the hard work and hours that Mara and her folks put into these fundraisers to help pay it forward!❤️. They have put together so many amazing raffle baskets too! You have one more chance to bid on them at her fundraiser this Saturday night at Gecko Climbing Gym from 5-8 pm.
