Today, we celebrate 251 years of honor, courage, commitment, and unwavering service to our nation.

Since October 13, 1775, the United States Navy has stood watch, defended our freedom, protected our shores, and answered the call wherever duty demands.

To every sailor who has worn the uniform, those serving today, our Navy veterans, and the families who stand beside them, we thank you for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to our great nation.

At Red Star Foundation, we also remember and honor those we have lost and the families who carry their legacy forward. Happy Birthday, U.S. Navy! Here's to 251 years of strength, sacrifice, and excellence.

🇺🇸 44 VETERANS A DAY. EVERY NUMBER HAS A NAME. EVERY NAME HAS A FAMILY.

At the Military Influencer Conference, Red Star Foundation, America's Warrior Partnership, and Wounded Warrior Project came together to confront the veteran su***de crisis and challenge how America approaches prevention.

The message was clear: We must do more than respond to crises. We must prevent them through connection, purpose, and support for veterans and their families.

Red Star Foundation Founder is heading to MCON 2026 in Las Vegas, October 23–25!

MCON brings together thousands from across the military community for three days of connection, collaboration, leadership, and impact, including important conversations around mental health and su***de prevention.

We look forward to connecting with fellow veterans, military leaders, nonprofit organizations, and partners as we continue building the national movement to prevent su***de among current military, veterans, and first responders.

Today may be the last day of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, but the mission does not end when the calendar changes. Su***de prevention is not a one month conversation. It is a year round commitment to awareness, connection, support, and action.

Too many current military, veterans, first responders, and family members are carrying burdens that often go unseen. We must continue to check in, speak up, listen, and stand beside one another every single day.

Awareness matters in September. Action matters all year long. Hope matters every day.

What an incredible moment at the Military Influencer Conference yesterday. Our Co- Founder and CEO Jerry Shaffer had the honor of meeting Retired U.S. Marine Corps Major James Capers Jr., Medal of Honor recipient and Marine Corps legend.

Major Capers was awarded the Medal of Honor on June 18, 2026, for extraordinary heroism during a 1967 reconnaissance mission in Vietnam. A true American hero and an absolute honor to meet.
