Man Up and Go

Man Up and Go Breaking the Cycle of Generational Fatherlessness. As such, we facilitate high-impact opportunities to engage in the fight against fatherlessness.

Every day 153 million children in the world wake up fatherless because their parents have abandoned God’s design, purpose, and function for the family unit. At Man Up and Go, we believe children benefit in every way by the presence of a loving, committed father in the home. Whether it’s serving foster and adoptive children and families, sponsoring a child, investing in leadership training for men, or mentoring aged-out foster youth, there’s a spot for everyone in the fight for the fatherless.

Nobody teaches you how hard it is to become the man you never had.

When you grow up without a loving father, you don't just miss a relationship—you miss a model. You find yourself trying to answer questions that other men learned around the dinner table:

What does it mean to be a good husband?
A good father?
A good man?

If that's your story, you're not alone.

There are millions of men trying to build a life they were never shown how to build. And the truth is, no man was meant to figure it out alone.

That's why brotherhood matters.

If you're tired of carrying the weight by yourself and want men in your corner who will encourage you, challenge you, and walk with you, message us.

We'll help you connect with a community of men who are becoming the fathers, husbands, and leaders they wish they'd had.

What gives a man his identity? Career, relationships, success, status, or something deeper?

We explore the growing identity crisis facing men and why so many feel disconnected from purpose, direction, and meaning.

Drawing on themes from The Way of the Patros, we discuss how identity is formed, why modern culture often leaves men searching for significance, and what it means to build a life rooted in responsibility, character, leadership, and purpose.

When a Patros rises:

Fathers return to their children.
Wives are cherished, not just tolerated.
Sons have shoes worth filling.
Daughters gain a vision of the husband they will one day choose.
The Word of God is opened, not shelved.
Love is spoken, not assumed.
Generational wounds give way to generational strength.
Streets grow quiet, and homes grow strong.
The vulnerable are protected, and the violent lose power.
Neighborhoods echo with legacy, not loss.

And in all of it, Christ is magnified:
His life becomes a signpost to the Savior.
His strength points to a greater strength.
His glory fades so that Christ’s glory shines.

A Patros doesn’t just carry weight; he carries hope.
He becomes a pillar, a standard, and a firm foundation.

When a Patros rises, the family, the church, and the world are changed forever.

Are you ready to rise?

The Pasco Fatherhood Gathering kicked off this week!! These gatherings are vital for fathers in the program–a place where they can be their authentic selves and be surrounded by understanding, support, and accountability.

When men are anchored in brotherhood, they are far more resilient to the storms life throws their way.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. - Proverbs 17:17

The world doesn't need louder men. It needs men who are Patros.

Across the globe, millions of children are growing up without healthy male leadership in their homes. The solution is simple but not easy: men must rediscover God's design for masculinity.

In this episode, we discuss the new book "The Way of the Patros", a book calling men into the life God designed them to live.

What does the world truly need from men today? In this episode, we ...

Their road wasn't easy; we made sure they didn't walk alone 🎓

Four young men in the system of care just crossed one of life's biggest milestones — high school graduation — and the Man Up Adopt-a-Family program made sure to celebrate their accomplishment!

We threw a surprise graduation celebration for these four incredible graduates, and the look on their faces? Priceless.

During the party, we gathered in prayer to thank God for how far they've come and for all the incredible plans we know God has for them. These young men aren't just graduates. They're proof that when community shows up, LIVES CHANGE.

To our graduates: We see you. We're proud of you. And we're not going anywhere. 💛

🏀 Check in and Chill 🏀

Our Youth Mentoring Program hosts regular "Check In and Chill" events where young men from fatherless homes come out to be surrounded by encouragement, support, and mentors who genuinely care about them.

Having a mentor in a young person's life has a dramatic impact on their life trajectory:

- Mentored youth are 20% more likely to attend college compared to non-mentored peers.

- Mentored youth reported lower absenteeism and fewer school suspensions.

- Mentored youth exhibit improved behaviors and stronger social bonds, leading to reduced dependency on social services and long-term societal improvements.

In a life mostly marked by chaos and doing what it takes to get through the day, these events help foster relationships that remind these young men that they matter and they are not alone.

Every Man Has Stress. Not Every Man Recognizes When It's a Problem.

In this episode, we explore the difference between productive pressure and chronic stress, how stress affects the mind and body, and the warning signs that things are going too far. We discuss burnout, anxiety, performance, sleep, relationships, and practical ways to manage stress before it starts controlling your life.

This conversation helps men recognize when stress is sharpening them and when it’s slowly wearing them down.

Stress is part of life, but when does it become unhealthy? In this episode, we explore the difference between productive pressure and chronic stress, how str...
