Morton Plant Mease Foundation provides philanthropic support to the not-for-profit hospitals of Morton Plant Mease

Over the last 25 years, the Morton Plant Mease Foundation has granted over $200 million. To put your gift in perspective, our hospitals would have to earn close to $2 billion at a 5 percent margin to net the amount that the more than 7,000 donors have collectively contributed.

Recent grant funding is helping the Jacobsen Teaching Kitchen bring healthy food, practical nutrition education and hands-on learning to our community.

Through cooking classes, workshops and dietitian-led education, patients learn how to prepare healthy, affordable meals, family medicine residents learn to incorporate food as medicine into everyday care, and community outreach helps address food insecurity and barriers to healthy living.

The Nurses Giving Society 2026 Fall Reception was filled with laughter, connection and plenty of Halloween spirit, with everyone showing off their amazing costumes.

After all the compassion and care Morton Plant Mease nurses give patients and families every day, it was wonderful to give them a chance to relax, and have some fun.
