💙 Our NAMI Pinellas County team enjoyed participating in PERC’s 28th Annual Showcase of Services!

This past Thursday, PERC, People Empowering & Restoring Communities, brought together organizations and community members for a day of connection and shared resources. We were proud to share mental health resources and support opportunities with those in attendance.

Mental Health is always a factor in building healthy individuals, families, workplaces, and communities. Access to the right resources and knowing where to turn for support can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you, PERC, for creating space for organizations to connect, collaborate, and serve our community in such a meaningful way.

Yes, parents deserve to be celebrated every day. But since today is parent appreciation day, we want to honor the parents, caregivers, guardians, and supportive adults who show up every day with love, patience, and resilience, by sharing a FREE resource ⬇

Parenting can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging, exhausting, and overwhelming at times. If you're supporting others, remember that your mental health matters too.

A few reminder for parents:

✨ You don't have to be perfect to be a good parent.
💚 Taking care of yourself is not selfish—it's necessary.
👏 Asking for help is a sign of strength.
🫂 Small moments of connection matter more than perfection.

As part of Parent Appreciation Day, we're sharing a resource to support YOU: NAMI Basics is a FREE, self-paced online program for parents and caregivers of young people (ages 22 and younger). It is designed to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate the challenges of youth mental health.

You don't have to carry it all alone. Learn more and enroll at basics.nami.org
