It's o-fish-ially summer and our first week of enrichment camp is in the books and from the smiles on these faces it seems to have gone swimmingly. The kids have submerged themselves in reading, octopi-ed their time with a little art and some fin-tastic writing activities. They shore are having some sea-rious fun.

It was a beautiful evening to celebrate some of our incredible students and the art that they pour their hearts into. A big thank you to Ms. Pam and the incredible staff Beach Art Center who rolled out the red carpet (ice cream and cookies too) for these artists. It was great to see some of our newest alumni come and see their art on display. If you missed last night's reception don't worry you still have time. These masterpieces will be on display until July 23rd.

Join us for our Book Bus Summer Bash on Tuesday, July 7th at The dePaul School for Dyslexia!

We're excited to kick off a fun-filled day with story time, games, and activities for children and families. The Book Bus will be onsite from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, giving kids the opportunity to choose free books. We will also have a FREE dyslexia screener for kids ages 5-12.

We're working on adding even more activities to make the day extra special, so stay tuned for additional details as we get closer to the event.

In this week's student spotlight we want to recognize Cieran. If there's one thing that stands out about him, it's his incredible determination. He shows up every day ready to work hard and challenge himself, even when something doesn't come easily.

When it was time to learn cursive, Cieran wasn't exactly thrilled. Writing has never been his favorite thing, and cursive felt like an even bigger challenge. But instead of giving up, he kept going. He practiced, accepted feedback, corrected his letters, and continued to put in the effort day after day.

Was he always excited about it? Not necessarily. But he never stopped trying.

Cieran reminds us that perseverance isn't about loving every challenge, but about pushing through even when it's difficult. His consistent effort, positive growth, and determination make us incredibly proud.

Way to go, Cieran!
