We’re inviting back our dePaul family for Alumni Night!

This night is for every student who has ever walked through dePaul’s doors. Whether you graduated years ago, moved on to another school, or were part of our community at any point along the way, we’d love to see you again.

Come reconnect with old friends, former classmates, teachers, and families, and enjoy an evening of camaraderie, pizza, raffles, and prizes. Most of all, it’s a chance to come back to a place that was once an important part of your family’s story.

Watching a child’s confidence build when reading finally starts to click is the BEST part of dePaul.

These students were practicing their Orton-Gillingham "red words" using sand trays and magnets. Red words are those tricky sight words that do not follow normal spelling rules and just have to be memorized. By physically tracing the letters in sensory sand and moving magnets into place, our kids use sight, sound, and touch all at once to help those spellings stick.

OG intervention takes real patience and effort, but seeing our students lean into the challenge with a smile makes every minute worth it. We are so proud of how hard these kids work every day to unlock their reading power!

What a wonderful start to the new school year. From our youngest learners on the Lower Campus to our Middle School Campus students stepping into new challenges, the sight of bright smiles, the sound of laughter, and the excitement of new friendships have filled our halls with incredible energy. A fantastic year lies ahead, so bring it on! Here is to a season filled with growth, learning, and lasting connections across both of our campuses. Welcome back, everyone!

Today's open house felt like the warmest welcome back. Seeing familiar smiles and meeting new friends reminded us just how special our dePaul community is, and our hearts are full after connecting with you all. As we conclude our new staff highlights, we are thrilled to welcome Ms. Duncan to our dePaul family!

With 24 years of teaching experience, Ms. Duncan received her initial IMSE training over a decade ago and continuously advances her credentials through ongoing professional education. At the core of her work is a deep passion for helping every student grow into a confident, capable reader.

We are so fortunate to welcome Ms. Duncan this year, and we know our students and families will benefit tremendously from her wisdom, heart, and dedication.

Join us for our Back to School Open House on Monday, August 10th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at both our Lower and Middle School campuses.
