State FCCLA is a wrap! We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the Clearwater members! Their determination, teamwork, and commitment was recognized!

Emma was awarded the Financial Fitness National Program state runner up award!

Hannah received the Peer Education Scholarship, Kansas Leadership Scholarship, and the Alumni & Associates Scholarship!

STAR Event Results:
💛 Leah Rowland competed in the Career Investigation event, earned a gold medal

💛 Kenzie competed in the Career Investigation event, earned a gold medal, and qualified for nationals

🩶 Madison and Zoey competed in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation event and earned a silver medal

💛 Emma competed in the National Programs in Action event and earned a gold medal

💛 Madi, who competed in the Personal Finance event and earned a gold medal, qualified for nationals

💛 Hannah competed in the Sustainability Challenge event, earned a silver medal, and qualified for nationals

Those qualified for nationals will travel to Washington DC this summer to compete with their projects!

2026 State FCCLA is officially underway! Tonight was the Peer Education Celebration! Hannah was recognized for her work on the Stand Up team, she led the group in a Music bingo game, and enjoyed some desserts.

The theme was “why is this in my closet?” Hence the random outfits

Today we presented a lesson on needs and wants and spending money to Mrs. Rupe’s kindergarten class! We read the Spend It book, led activities on identifying needs and wants, and let the students make choices on which items to “buy”. Each student got to take home a copy of the the Spend It book to share with their families.

Clearwater FCCLA competed in the District I STAR Events today. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Clearwater won an award for having the 3rd highest percentage of members competing today! Good luck to the state qualifier in April!!
