Employee of the Month: Amber
Amber has been a driving force behind innovation and growth—single-handedly developing new curriculum, establishing meaningful partnerships, and launching after-school programs designed to educate middle and high school students about safe and healthy dating. Her passion for prevention and education has strengthened our mission and expanded our reach in the community.
Beyond her incredible programmatic contributions, Amber is known for her unwavering willingness to help wherever she’s needed. Whether supporting outreach efforts or stepping in at the shelter, she approaches every task with dedication, positivity, and heart.
Amber is truly a hard-working go-getter with a kind and compassionate spirit. Around the team, she’s affectionately known as “the onion”—because each layer of who she is reveals something even more remarkable than the last.

Volunteer Spotlight: Devon
Devon has been volunteering at Hope Villages for 6 months as a lead food distribution volunteer. He jumped right into the action volunteering 3 days a week on the Food Distribution Line.
If you're a guest of our Food Bank, you're sure to be greeted by Devon's smiling face and offer to load your car for you! When Devon is not volunteering, he enjoys kayaking, finding the best local restaurants, and preparing for their first baby coming in November! Devon volunteers at Hope Villages because it feels good to help and give back to his community in a hands-on way!
