The Skip Cline Society is a dynamic group of local professionals who share a common interest in advancing the future of health care.

The Skip Cline Society is named in honor of Harry Sykes “Skip” Cline, Jr. 18 years after his untimely death. To Skip's friends, he embodied the ideals of a young leader – charisma, enthusiasm, and energy. He was raised in the shadows of Morton Plant Hospital, in a family long devoted to charitable ideals; contributing time, treasure and talent.

A gift inspired by gratitude is now creating a lasting impact for patients across our community.

After witnessing the compassionate care his wife, Merian, received at Mease Countryside Hospital's Emergency Center, Fred Green chose to give back in a remarkable way, making a $100,000 gift to support future patients and families throughout our community.

His generosity funded two new CareLift vans, helping patients access the medical care they need through a program that has provided more than 500,000 free rides to patients in need since 1996.

At a special plaque unveiling at Mease Countryside Hospital, CareLift volunteers joined hospital leadership to personally thank Mr. Green for his extraordinary generosity and commitment to helping others.

Through this gift, Fred is honoring Merian's memory while ensuring thousands of patients can continue receiving the care they need for years to come. We are deeply grateful for Fred’s compassion, generosity, and the impact he has made on our community.

Team building, baseball, and great company made for a winning afternoon at Tropicana Field! Our team enjoyed cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays as they took on the Texas Rangers. Moments like these remind us that spending time together outside of work helps strengthen the connections that drive our success every day. ⚾

Thanks to the power of philanthropy, 20 local students discovered new possibilities in health care this summer through the Diane Rauch Camp Nurse Jr. program at Mease Dunedin Hospital.

From first aid and Stop the Bleed training to hands-on simulations and hospital department tours, students gained real-world exposure to the many careers that make patient care possible. We are honored to fund this program and continue Diane Rauch's legacy while helping build the next generation of compassionate health care professionals.

Thank You for Supporting Pitch for Pink! 💖

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the 21st Annual Pitch for Pink with the Clearwater Threshers Baseball team. Because of your generosity and support, we raised nearly $16,000 this year!

This event has contributed more than $330,000 over the years to support breast cancer services at the hospital of Morton Plant Mease, helping provide care and hope to patients throughout our community.

What a night at the ballpark! ⚾💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Dunedin Blue Jays' first ever Pitching for Pediatrics in support of pediatric and neonatal care programs at the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease.

The evening was filled with unforgettable moments, including two of our incredible team members proudly performing the National Anthem and several special guests delivering the ceremonial first pitch.

Together, we're making a difference for local children and families. Thank you for helping us raise awareness, hope, and support for our smallest patients.
