American Legion Post 7 is collecting food and donations for our Tenth annual Thanksgiving Baskets for Veterans Families in need. Since we started this program, we have donated 370 baskets. The Post will begin to collect food (only nonperishables) on Oct 20. We are accepting donations now (cash or Check). Check should be made out to America Legion Post 7, memo line, Thanksgiving Baskets. If you would like to donate a complete basket in your name, the cost is $50. Cash or check donations should be put in an envelope marked Thanksgiving and given to the Bartender, one of the officers listed below or mailed to post. Our goal is to donate 100 baskets.
The items we need for Thanksgiving baskets:
Deposal Aluminum Cooking pan for Turkey
Turkeys 12-14 lbs.
Butter 1lb.
Turkey Stuffing
Mac and Cheese
Instant Potato’s
Turkey Gravy-dry mix or Jar
Corn bread mix
Can Vegetables-corn, beans, yams, cranberries, etc.
Jell-O,
Please check the expiration date on the goods you donate we cannot use any item that expires before Dec 31,2024

There is a new search engine called Meta AI that has appeared on Facebook and other apps.

The funny thing, is that I did not install it.

While I do not think it is a virus, it is obviously sharing information across multiple applications and multiple companies.

It is NOT allowing me to remove it from Facebook or the other applications.

I think it is about time I stopped using facebook and any other apps that use Meta AI.

In order to keep this post on Facebook, I have to keep my Facebook account open long enough to let people know about this, but this account will be deleted soon.

There have been some messages stating there are inappropiate posts and threating to shut down this page. They are phishing schemes. Do not attempt to respond to them. I report and block them. They pretend to be from facebook but are not.
