GET READY!! This year's FAMILY BLESSING is going to be PHENOMENAL! This is the year for an UPLIFTING, JOYOUS, FAMILY EXPERIENCE! Get ready to be captivated and mesmerized on December 15, 2024, at The illustrious Mahaffey Theatre for a spectacular celebration of joy and artistry – The 10th Annual production of the highly anticipated “FAMILY BLESSING!”

Join us on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 3PM at the Duke Center of Performing Arts where the Family Blessing will dazzle and inspire audiences of all ages This years’ performance will be nothing short of explosive, hosted by The Legendary Grammy-award winning artist Mr. Paul Anthony, famously known for his iconic contributions with the group Full Force and his role in the hit movie House Party. Adding to the excitement, we are thrilled to welcome hip hop legend and radio host Chubb Rock -- together with over 100 phenomenally talented local youth and artists, prepare for a breathtaking journey of music and movement!

As a special feature, an incredible honorary procession of over 100 alumni from the esteemed DUNDU DOLE URBAN AFRICAN BALLET Performers will grace the stage, bringing down the House in a spectacular display of talent and artistry.

The Family Blessing artfully weaves together a vibrant tapestry of dance, music and theater as we follow the inspiring journey of young Aliyah. Witness her quest for inspiration, love and hope for her grandmother Zola, as the production unfolds with a mesmerizing blend of ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, African, salsa, Irish clogging, Brazilian Samba and Bollywood dance!
