Pinellas Public Library Cooperative -PPLC The Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) connects communities. Pinellas County has a library cooperative instead of a countywide library system.

The county, and its independent libraries came together to create the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC). Our purpose is to facilitate access to library service for the residents of unincorporated areas of the county, and to foster a sense of togetherness across our libraries. Each member library retains local control of its operations while collaborating through PPLC to find common ground. PPLC administers two countywide services - the Talking Book Library and Deaf Literacy Center, as well as a shared library automation system that gives our patrons access to all of the items in our libraries.

You can still visit the MFA with a museum passes from YOUR Pinellas Public Library Cooperative -PPLC library!

Our MFA Collection is temporarily closed for our reimagination until November 21, 2026. While the collection galleries are closed, you can still experience the exhibition, New African Masquerades, Live Conservation with Luis Seixas, purchase something from the MFA Shop, or grab a bite at Café Clementine. We'll continue to offer a range of activities, from music performances to workshops to book club.
