Bringing HOPE to Zambia 💧🇿🇲

Earlier this month, Water 4 Mercy CEO Nermine Rubin traveled to Zambia, continuing her hands-on leadership and commitment to creating sustainable change in rural communities.

Alongside agriculture expert Tom Groenveld of CultivAid, leaders of our agricultural technology initiatives, and representatives from Lalumwe, the team visited water and agriculture project sites focused on strengthening food security and opportunity across the villages we serve.

On April 28, the people of Chamboko Village celebrated the completion of a clean water system and drip irrigation project, a milestone marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with health, dignity, and hope for the community. 🤍

The journey continued to Vibwi Village for the inauguration of its agricultural project, followed by several days in Lusaka at Water 4 Mercy’s Agricultural Innovation and Technology Center (AITeC), where the team continued hands-on collaboration and strengthened local partnerships for long-term impact.

This is what sustainable transformation looks like: clean water, agriculture, education, and community working together. 🌍

Follow us for more updates as we continue bringing hope to villages across Africa.

Meet Bzizian 🌱 At just 25 years old, Bzizian graduated from Water 4 Mercy’s Agricultural Innovation and Technology Center (AITeC) in 2025 and today, he is already creating lasting impact across the Singida region of Tanzania.

Now working as an agronomist with Water 4 Mercy, Bzizian is helping teach communities how to become good stewards of their water and precious land while learning how to grow healthy, nutritious crops in abundance. ☀️

His journey is a powerful example of what happens when education, opportunity, and sustainability come together. One student trained becomes a leader who can transform entire communities. This is more than agriculture. This is generational change. 🤍

Help us continue empowering future leaders like Bzizian through AITeC and sustainable village development across Africa. Your support helps create food security, education, and hope for generations to come. Link in bio! 🌍

We are thrilled to announce that Water 4 Mercy has officially adopted the Makafa and Mpakani villages in Tanzania for a new sustainable agricultural project with drip irrigation 🌱💧

Meeting with the village leadership teams and hearing their excitement, hope, and vision for the future was incredibly moving. These communities are eager and ready to begin this journey toward food security, sustainable farming, and long-term transformation.

We begin taking the first steps together this week, bringing innovative irrigation systems, agricultural education, and opportunity to families who have been praying for lasting change. 🌾☀️

This is what hope in action looks like. One village at a time. One family at a time. One future transformed forever. 🤍

With Professor Provident Dimoso, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs at the Institute of Rural Development Planning, we continue building a future rooted in education, innovation, and stewardship.

We are training the teachers at AITeC to become strong stewards of water resources while learning how to grow highly nutritional crops that can create long-term food security for their communities. By “training the trainers,” we are creating a ripple effect of knowledge that will impact generations to come.

During our tour in Dodoma, AITeC interns explored the different crops we are growing and testing, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, irrigation, and regenerative farming practices 🌾☀️

This is how lasting change begins through education, empowerment, and opportunity. 💙
