🎤 October is Foster Youth Voice Month!

At Camelot Community Care, we believe young people deserve more than a seat at the table. They deserve to be heard, valued, and included in the decisions that shape their lives and futures.

Throughout October, we join organizations and communities across the country in recognizing Foster Youth Voice Month and celebrating the strength, insight, and lived experiences of young people impacted by foster care.

When we listen to youth, we learn. When we elevate their voices, we create opportunities for meaningful change. And when young people know their voices matter, they can help shape a stronger child welfare system for those who come after them.

Celebrating Excellence at Camelot Community Care! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to recognize two outstanding members of Team Camelot who were honored at the 2026 Florida Dependency Summit in Orlando!

During the 2026 Circuit 20 Awards, two of our Southwest Florida team members received well deserved recognition:

🏆 Chandler Dickerson, Supervisor in Immokalee
Most Outstanding Case Manager Supervisor

These awards recognize the dedication, compassion and commitment Chandler and Rosbeth bring to their work every day in support of children and families in our communities.

Well... the chefs really did go WILD! 🍽️⚓

The response from Greater Tampa Bay's culinary community to Chefs Gone Wild: Yacht Rock Edition has been incredible. We originally set out to feature 12 chefs, but so many talented chefs wanted to come aboard that we're expanding up to 20 chefs!

That means we needed more room to go wild.

📅 NEW DATE: Friday, February 19, 2027
📍 NEW VENUE: Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater
🍽️ Up to 20 Featured Chefs
👥 250 to 300 Guests
🎶 Live Yacht Rock by the band FM STATION

FM STATION will keep things smooth with feel-good '70s and '80s favorites, crowd singalongs, and laid-back coastal energy while our chefs turn up the heat.

And, it's all for a purpose that matters: raising funds to support Camelot Community Care's work with children and families.

A heartfelt thank you to the Naples Jewish Congregation for their generous donation to Camelot Community Care’s Naples location! 💙

Their congregation donated 40 backpacks filled with comfort, care and essentials for the children and families we serve. Each backpack includes items such as blankets, pajamas, socks, books, coloring supplies, toys, stuffed animals, personal care items and more.

We are incredibly grateful for community partners who come together to make sure children feel supported, cared for and valued. Thank you, Naples Jewish Congregation, for making a difference! 💚

This month, Camelot Community Care proudly recognizes the grandparents, relatives and other kinship caregivers who step forward to provide children with safe, loving and supportive homes.

Kinship caregivers help children remain connected to the people, traditions and communities they know while providing the stability and care they need to thrive.

To every kinship caregiver who opens their home and heart to a child in need, thank you for making family your priority.

At Camelot Community Care, workforce development is at the foundation of how we grow stronger as an organization. By creating opportunities for our team members to learn, lead, and advance, we strengthen the work we do every day for children and families.

Our IGNITE Leadership Development Program is one way we’re bringing that commitment to life by developing emerging leaders from within and preparing them for what’s next.

This September, we’re especially proud to celebrate our inaugural IGNITE class and their commitment to growing as leaders at Camelot. 🔥

💙 A Special Thank You to Comfort Cases & Citrin Cooperman!

We’re grateful to Comfort Cases and Citrin Cooperman for their incredible support of Camelot Community Care’s Palm Beach / Treasure Coast location.

Through the partnership coordinated by Kenisha Manning, Vice President of Business Development at Comfort Cases, Citrin Cooperman generously provided 70 Comfort Cases for children and youth in foster care. Each bag is filled with thoughtful essentials such as hygiene items, pajamas, activities and other items designed to bring comfort during times of transition.
