🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from Troop 413!🇺🇸
Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, honor those who have served our country, and remember the values of citizenship and service that Scouting helps instill in our youth.

If you’re in Safety Harbor this morning, be sure to wave as Troop 413 proudly march in the Safety Harbor July 4th parade, hosted by the American Legion. We’re honored to be part of this wonderful community tradition and grateful for the American Legion’s continued support of our troop.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable Fourth of July!

Scouts and leaders had an amazing week at Cherokee Scout Reservation! Despite significant delays getting there (30 hours on the train), the week turned out to be a great adventure! Special thanks to our 6 adult leaders who took the time to travel, mentor and lead our scouts this week!

📊 New Eagle Scout Research Highlights the Lasting Impact of Scouting

Scouting America recently released the findings of the 2026 Eagle Scout Study, offering a closer look at the experiences and outcomes of adults who earned Scouting's highest rank.

One finding stood out:

🔹 74% of Eagle Scouts report serving in leadership roles in their workplaces—more than twice the rate of adults who were not involved in Scouting.

The study, conducted by The Harris Poll, followed 3,178 adults and examined the relationship between Scouting experiences and adult leadership, service, and well-being.

For Scouts working toward Eagle today, it's a reminder that the lessons learned through leadership positions, service projects, teamwork, and perseverance can have an impact that lasts a lifetime.
