FOSTER needed ASAP for Sherbert, a young, sweet and gentle orange giant who was just diagnosed with FIV and a 5/6 heart murmur. We are moving forward with a 10/15 second opinion to determine what care is needed for adoptability. Sherbert has already been vaccinated with rabies and FVRCP, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped, but was declined neuter surgery due to his heart murmur. That’s all he needs now, but it is risky. Without it though, it will be very difficult to adopt him out. We want to give Sherbert the best possible chance for a forever home. He had one at some point in his life, but was found living outside for many months being fed by a good Samaritan. Luckily, Sherbert is in short-term foster care right now, but we’re looking for a foster who will be available a little longer to help him through his surgery and recovery period. Sherbert is a sweet boy and no trouble at all. He just needs his own space where he can chill and recover. He may need an upcoming ultrasound or Echo done at Blue Pearl, but a ride will be provided. Does anyone have a little time and space for Sherbert in their home?

This is Piper, a striking 10 year old DMH female Tortie. Sadly, her senior owner passed away recently and left Piper and her sister QuiQui alone to find a new forever home 😥The sisters were raised together as kittens and we expected to adopt them out together. However, we learned during foster care that they were not that close as sisters, so we decided to adopt them out separately. Piper enjoys human attention and affection, but she does have some Tortitude 😉 Piper prefers to be the only pet in the home so she can have ALL the attention. She is completely vetted, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and is microchipped. Adoption fee is only $100. This is Stevie Nicks, a 4.5 month old beautiful and energetic DSH buff female tabby. Usually, orange tabbies are male, but occasionally you get lucky🍀and find a female. We got lucky! Stevie is sweet, super playful, loves humans and seeks friendship with every cat she meets. She won’t take no for an answer! Stevie is a feline Welcome Wagon. She was rescued outdoors from a litter of four and the homeowner continues to feed Stevie’s Tortie mama and her 3 energetic siblings, but they are hard to catch! Stevie has a twin sibling that she misses, so we will continue to keep trying to rescue them. It might be another female 🤷‍♀️ Stevie is completely vetted, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and microchipped. Adoption fee is $160.
