⚠️ Pinellas County's Cold Night Shelters have been activated for this Friday and Saturday, December 23rd and 24th ⚠️

The National Weather Service expects the "feels like" temperature to reach the high 20's during this time.

Additional Information:
➡️ Guests are accepted until the shelter is full.
➡️ All sites provide a warm place to sleep, and many sites also serve a meal.
➡️ We are currently monitoring the forecast for Sunday, December 25th, as well.
➡️ Guests will be advised if the shelter will be open on additional nights as conditions warrant.

For this year’s HEP is raising funds for our Urban Empowerment Garden🥬🍅! The garden provides fresh and organic fruits and veggies to the homeless men, women, children and Veterans on our campus. Funds raised will go directly to purchasing items off of the gardens wishlist such as compost bins and misting fans!

This , we need your help to reach our $2,500 goal to support HEP's Urban Empowerment Garden!

In 2021, HEP's gardeners and volunteers harvested an incredible 2,000 pounds of produce from our Urban Empowerment Garden, saving HEP almost $10,000 worth of fresh, organic fruits and veggies for our clients! This year’s fundraiser will help supply our garden with additional tools and materials, such as compost bins, compost thermometers, and misting fans, to help sustain this bountiful harvest. With this much-needed support, HEP can continue to provide nutrient-dense meals to the homeless men, women, children and Veterans on our campus.

The HEP Workforce Development team had a great time today sharing our resources with the Veteran community at Veterans Help Group’s Thanksgiving Turkey Giveway! We were even lucky enough to secure the gravy table (which is always the best part of the Thanksgiving dinner). 🦃

Thank you Veterans Help Group for this amazing opportunity AND for donating the leftover food items to HEP!
