A full-circle moment.

Former MLB outfielder Brett Phillips returned to the fields where he grew up and broke down the huddle with the Seminole Seahawks before the team took the field for practice. From participating in these same youth programs as a young athlete to now inspiring the next generation, it’s incredible to see the impact of sports come full circle. Thank you Brett! 🙌

CFY is proud to present a $21,650 Youth Athlete Registration Reimbursement & Equipment Supplement Grant to the Seminole Seahawks Youth Football & Cheer program!

This funding will help create more opportunities for young athletes by supporting registration costs and providing essential equipment to help the program continue to grow.

Joining us for this special check presentation was former MLB outfielder and Seminole native Brett Phillips, who returned to the fields where his own youth sports journey began. Brett shared special memories of growing up in the Seminole community, participating in local youth programs, and creating the same experiences that continue to inspire young athletes today.

Thank you Brett and to the Seminole Seahawks for your commitment to developing young athletes through teamwork, dedication, and the love of the game. The CFY family remains strong! 🏈🫶

Another year of supporting the Clearwater Jr. Tornadoes! 🏈

This week, we were proud to visit one of our legacy programs, the Clearwater Jr. Tornadoes, and present them with a $12,986 Youth Athlete Registration Reimbursement Grant.

This grant was made possible through the funds raised at CFY's Annual Art Capogna Memorial Golf Classic, helping ensure more young athletes have the opportunity to participate in sports!

A few more moments from an inspiring night at the Rays game!

It was a privilege to spend the evening with Jonathan St. Clair, founder of the Jasper Ray Foundation and creator of the Wave Maker Tour, Brett Phillips, former MLB outfielder, and 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist and CFY Development Manager Brooke Bennett.

Special thanks to the Tampa Bay Rays and to Jonathan and the Jasper Ray Foundation for sharing their mission and bringing greater awareness to water safety and drowning prevention. We're grateful to have been part of such a meaningful evening.
