"The Luck of the Irish" NPCREA luncheon had a great turnout and an amazing speaker, Allison Dolan, from the Clearwater Historical Society. We learned a great deal about the women of Clearwater who were considered pioneers in their areas of expertise. Lots of fun and prizes were had as well. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Coral Oaks "Spring Tea" gift bags for residents who are living on the assisted living side of the community. They will be having their tea party April 1st at 2pm. Coral Oaks is located at 900 West Lake Rd in Palm Harbor.

This past Thursday and Friday, the NPCREA members of Cupid's Crew prepared bouquets, cards, and treats and then headed out to Lakeside Oaks to visit with the residents and bring them cookies, old fashion valentines and flowers donated through the Wish of a lifetime foundation. The residents were so very thankful and happy to see us. It certainly tugged at my heart to bring some sunshine into others' day. Thank you to all who participated.

Our Valentine's Day luncheon was a wonderful combination of friends and hearing about another great organization, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Tampa Bay. Thanks so much to Olivia Tiffany for taking the time to be our guest speaker. I'd also like to thank all of you who brought in used tee-shirts for the Re-Threaded program that helps survivors of human trafficking to make a fresh start.

Last week several of our members took time out of their busy schedule to think of others. It was time for our annual bell ringing for the Salvation Army. We met at the Publix on Gulf Bay and Belcher and rang from 10 AM to 6 PM. Many thanks to all of our volunteers who came out and rang for all they were worth. I especially loved your enthusiastic holiday gear.
Thank you to Marie, Phyllis, Maira, Katrina, Nancy, Jayne, Linda, Mary, Bob Bob, Carole and Rick i teally appreciated all your help.

Celebrating our veterans, this past Veterans Day was made even more special by our guest speaker, Susan Zysk. She gave a very interesting and entertaining talk on her life in the Navy as a lieutenant commander in the 70s. Thank you to all the veterans who have served our country tirelessly and with honor. I also like to thank all of our members who brought in items that were shared with local veterans in need.

Our October luncheon was spooktacular! Thank you to Pamela Tyler from OLLI, who came to speak to our group regarding opportunities in Osher lifelong learning Institute. They have amazing learning opportunities and even trips and events people can attend.
