Building Communities and Restoring Hope

10/13/2026

Today started with all hands on deck, working to dry out and salvage our mats from the rainwater after Tropical Storm Rachel took our roof.

In the middle of the mess, God showed up through the community. We received incredible, generous donations from MY: 360PROJECT and Trish Schipke to get the bTrish Schipkend thanks to them, we are already 25% of the way to our goal! 🙌

Right after securing what we could at the gym, our team jumped in alongside IGLESIA REY DE REYES to heIGLESIA REY DE REYES repairs and distribute emergency supplies to families across our community 🫂

Serving our neighbors will always be who we are, but getting a roof back over this space is critical. To build it back properly, we’re pouring a reinforced concrete tie-beam across the walls so the new steel structure is anchored for good.

This building isn't just four walls, it’s a sanctuary where our kids come to train, eat together, grow, and stay safe. 🥋🍽️

Help us keep this momentum going so we can get our doors back open for our youth:

Today we went out with our church IGLESIA REY DE REYES to help our community and there is more people than we can help, the need is much greater than we expected 🤕 These photos are from just a few places that we stopped to help. One was a mother of 5 children who lost their roof and clothes! Our ask to you is if you can help even with a little, we want to put it forward to help start rebuilding this community 🙏

Tropical Storm Rachel took the roof right off our gym.

If I’m being completely honest, I’ve been at a loss for words looking at this. Every square foot of this space has taken so much sweat, prayer, and uphill fundraising to build piece by piece. Seeing the elements pour down directly onto the mats hurts deep.

We know God provides, and our commitment to these kids and this community hasn’t wavered. But right now, we need to move fast.

Our immediate goal is to raise $5,000 to purchase heavy-duty steel purlins, high-gauge corrugated roofing, new lights & electrical, and anchor plates to rebuild a reinforced, storm-resistant roof that won't lift in the next storm. Getting this secured protects the mats and gets our youth back on the training floor immediately.

If you are able to partner with us, whether through a gift toward materials, prayer, or sharing this post, it would mean the world to our team right now.

Thank you for standing in the storm with us.

Big things are growing at El Rebaño Del Guerrero and our kids need room to move. 🥋🔨

Our indoor space is packed, and we are officially ready to expand outside.

Our immediate target: $5,000 to complete the concrete patio and full roof covering.

A covered patio means training rain or shine, dedicated outdoor conditioning, and room to welcome more local youth into the program. Plus room to eat dinner together as a team 🍽️

At the same time, a roof is only as good as the work happening beneath it. We are on a mission to lock in 46 new monthly supporters to hit our 50-partner milestone, ensuring coaches, equipment, and daily programming stay uninterrupted.

🛠️ Two ways to make an impact today:

Fund a section of the patio build ($50, $150, or $500 one-time).

Become 1 of our 46 monthly champions ($25–$50/mo).

Huge thank you to the kingOfAKing Podcast for the shout out to HEAL Outreach at the end of their latest episode! 🙌 We are so grateful to them for helping us get the word out about our mission to share the gospel and give youth structure through Jiu-Jitsu. 🥋✨

This episode, "Being an Addict, Mop Closets, And Greatness," features an incredibly inspiring and real conversation with Wes Lane, the master barber behind Precision Hair Studios. They dive deep into Wes's journey of overcoming substance abuse, building a thriving business out of a mop closet, and the power of small daily disciplines.

Make sure to give it a watch, hear Wes's powerful testimony, and catch our special shout-out at the end!

Yesterday we partnered with and their mission team from LifePoint Church to paint 2 houses and give shoes to the community. A few of our teens from our project El Rebaño Del Guerrero got to give back to their local community.

Building the Future of El Rebaño Del Guerrero

Big things are happening at HEAL Outreach in San Quintín! We are steadily upgrading the El Rebaño Del Guerrero facility, but we need your support to reach the finish line.

As shown above, we have successfully completed the concrete foundation, steps, and retaining wall, and installed the sliding glass door, but our vision doesn't stop there. Our goal is to transform this space by erecting a structural awning, welding safety railings along the perimeter, and hanging heavy bags. This covered outdoor terrace will serve as a dedicated training ground where local boys and girls can build discipline through our martial arts, calisthenics, and mentorship programs.

We are raising $5,000 to secure the steel framing, roofing panels, and hardware necessary to finish this build.

Help us turn this blueprint into a reality. Partner with us today and build a lasting environment for youth mentorship and martial arts.
