After being displaced by the 2024 hurricanes while pregnant, this young mom faced more uncertainty than anyone should have to carry. Her baby girl arrived with serious health needs, and caring for her meant stepping away from work and facing difficult financial circumstances.

Still, she kept going—finding support, working toward stability, and doing everything she could to build a safe place for her daughter.

Today, we were honored to help make that place feel like home. 🏡💛

The hurricanes may be long past, but many families are still rebuilding. Her story is a reminder that recovery takes time—and that no family should have to start over alone.

Meet the incredible team helping move The Pineapple Projects forward!

Jenn brings volunteers together, Jenny keeps our finances on track, Kim walks alongside the families we serve, Ashley leads the vision, Debbi welcomes each call with care, and Kelley brings each home’s design to life.

This team goes far beyond what is asked, bringing creativity, compassion, laughter, and so much love to every family and every home. We are so excited for all that is ahead as this exceptional team continues to grow.

At TPP, we truly believe we are better together… employees, volunteers, donors, partners, and our whole community. 🍍
