Sad news for small businesses in the Norcal region and the NorCal SBDC Finance Center.

A message from the Director:

On August 27th, the SBDC lost one of its finest team members, Steve Roth.

Steve was a loving grandfather, a devoted husband, and one of the best business finance advisors on the planet. Steve was a mentor for me, and I would not be where I am in my career without his influence. We worked together on helping numerous businesses here in the North State grow pretty spectacularly, and in the process he taught me a good bit of what I know.

Steve was a straightforward kind of guy and did not sugarcoat things. He would tell you exactly what he was thinking and why. I know he personally dedicated a huge part of his life to helping others, providing sound financial advice and guidance to thousands of businesses over the years. Steve will be missed greatly, and we will be praying for his family and loved ones.

The Chicken is involved, but the Pig is committed!
