Monarch butterflies exclusively lay their eggs on Asclepias (Milkweed) plants which then feeds their caterpillars.
Western Milkweed Natives in stock here are Showy (Baker Creek seeds or Wild Jules seedballs) & Narrowleaf (Wild Jules seedballs)
The caterpillars form their chrysalis on a safe, sturdy, sheltered vertical structure in an area away from their Milkweed host. Often on fences, though consider also adding more native shrubs around your home to act as shelter.
