Meet sweet Daisy Mae! She is TLC Rescue's latest. She is at the vet today getting checked out, heartworm and tick disease tested, vaccinated, and spayed. Once she has recovered from surgery, she will be transported to our partner in VA.

This little one was shoved out of a moving truck window. It was witnessed by the person who picked her up. The finder posted her, we chatted, and knew that we needed to help.

TLC Rescue has been helping with the of some local animals. Rescues are drowning, some are folding, and shelters are bursting at the seams nationwide. It really bothers me that I am unable to do more 😔
We have 2 spays coming up on the 4th. These are young dogs, and they need to be spayed and vaccinated ASAP.

Teresa's Legacy Continues is a reputable all-volunteer organization. We pay no salaries and take no compensation. The money donated to TLC Rescue is for the animals.
Since I am unable to pull dogs at this time, we have been maintaining our current animals and helping some folks with . We cover the surgery and vaccines.🩺💉✂️ Our shelters are drowning. The need for fosters and adopters is greater than ever :'(
It feels good when we can help and an owned animal in our community :) Every spay and neuter helps the animal, the family, the rescues, and the shelter. 🐾We have a spay on Wednesday :) I want that kiddo and his dog to have a healthy, happy life together :)

Things are tough right now, and when things get tough for people, they get even tougher for animals.
We are in a national animal overpopulation crisis. It breaks my heart that we can't help like we used to. I wish I could have a house full of fosters. I miss it.
What I can do, though, is spay and neuter some local animals. Every spay and neuter saves at least 100 lives down the road. is the single most important thing we can do to help curb pet overpopulation and help our struggling rescues and shelters.
