With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Past Parade Committee Member Delvia Kumm.

Delvia was a true pillar of our parade for many years, serving as the mastermind behind the First Division during the Sue Lanich parade days to present. Her dedication, organization, and tireless behind-the-scenes work helped shape the parade into what so many of us came to love and expect year after year.

Delvia officially retired from the parade committee following the 2024 parade, but in true Delvia fashion, she still offered her time, guidance, and support as we prepared for the 2025 parade. Her commitment never wavered.

Beyond her service, we are incredibly grateful for Delvia’s humor, wit, and unmistakable personality. She had a way of lightening stressful moments, making people laugh, and reminding everyone why the work mattered. Her presence was felt just as much through her personality as it was through her leadership.

Delvia also proudly served as a member of the Clearfield Fire Department, continuing a lifetime of service to her community.

We are deeply grateful for everything Delvia gave—her time, her leadership, her laughter, and her heart. She will be greatly missed, but her impact and legacy will forever remain part of our parade and our community.

Below, Delvia is pictured with her Son Christopher and Husband Robert.

Please keep Delvia’s family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time. 💔

Now that the confetti has stopped flying... 🎉

Well, well, well… Mother Nature tried to steal the show with a little pre-parade sprinkle, but CLEARFIELD wasn’t having it! After a quick little rain shower, the clouds parted, the sun came out, and we were left with the most beautiful night for a parade you could imagine! Seriously, it was like the weather knew this parade was too good to miss!

Then came the 130 INCREDIBLE participants who took over that 1-mile route with pure magic. From fire trucks, ambulances, and marching bands to local businesses, twirling units, and dance/cheer groups, it was a parade extravaganza! The energy was so electric, I think we all could’ve powered the entire fairgrounds for the rest of the week!

And let’s talk about the thousands of SPECTATORS who lined that route to cheer us on—YOU brought the real spark! The streets were packed with excitement, laughter, and more positive energy than we could have ever hoped for! The vibe was contagious and pure magic.

A special shoutout to everyone who trusted us with the weather – we watched that forecast for 24 hours like it was the most important thing on Earth. When those raindrops left and the skies opened up? It was worth every second of the wait. You were all AMAZING for trusting and sticking with us!

We can’t forget our amazing sponsor, CNB Bank, and the talented folks at Evolution Images Photography who made sure every moment was captured in all its glory. Thank you for helping make parade night unforgettable!

So now, we're already thinking about next year. Until then, Clearfield —keep those spirits high!

🚨**Parade Weather Alert: Pre-Parade Sprinkles!**🚨

The weather forecast is out here trying to be the main character today, talking about a chance of rain before the parade. Cute. Real cute.

But listen — we’re not made of sugar (well, maybe just the cotton candy kids 👀), and a little water never hurt anyone… unless you’re a cardboard float, in which case, STAY STRONG SOLDIER.

So grab your ponchos, channel your inner waterproof warrior, and let’s do this thing — soggy socks and all.

Clearfield doesn’t cancel fun — we accessorize it with umbrellas. ☂️

DON’T rain on my parade!
