The 2026 Sue Lanich Memorial Award was presented in memory of long-time committee member, Delvia Kumm. Delvia faithfully served on the parade committee for several years until retiring in 2024. She was a devoted supporter of our local fire service, proudly speaking of the volunteer firefighters who give so much of themselves to protect our communities. Her admiration and respect for those who serve was evident to everyone who knew her. Delvia passed away in January of this year, but her legacy of service, community pride, and unwavering support for our first responders lives on.
🌟 Sue Lanich Memorial Award: Falls Creek Volunteer Fire Department - a department that embodies the spirit of volunteerism and dedication that Delvia so deeply admired.

Congratulations to every unit, organization, business, performer, and volunteer who helped make the 2026 Clearfield County Fair Parade one for the books!

This year’s parade featured even more entries than last year, proving once again that our community continues to grow stronger and show up in a BIG way. ❤️

🎉 IT’S PARADE DAY, CLEARFIELD! 🎉

Today, we celebrate one of Clearfield County’s greatest traditions—the Clearfield County Fair Parade! 🇺🇸🎡

For years, this parade has brought our community together with hometown pride, smiling faces, and memories that last a lifetime. Whether you’re marching, volunteering, performing, or cheering from the sidelines, thank you for being part of what makes this tradition so special.

Here’s what you can look forward to:
🎺 Incredible marching bands
🚒 Fire trucks and emergency vehicles
🎉 Creative floats and local organizations
🍬 Plenty of candy handed out safely
❤️ Thousands of neighbors celebrating together
🎆 A spectacular fireworks show immediately following the parade!

Today’s Schedule:
🕓 Lineup begins: 4:00 PM
🕕 Parade steps off: 6:00 PM SHARP
🎇 Fireworks: Immediately following the parade
🏆 Parade awards: At the stage after the fireworks

🚧 Please plan ahead for road closures around the parade route and staging areas. Follow the directions of our Fire Police, law enforcement officers, and volunteers—they’re working hard to keep EVERYONE safe. Do NOT ignore road blocks or personnel. They are in place for SAFETY.

🐴 A reminder that live animals may be participating. Please respect barricades, avoid startling the animals, and help us make this a safe event for everyone.

Today isn’t just about floats and fireworks—it’s about celebrating the community we call home. Let’s line the streets, cheer loudly, support every participant, and make the 165th Clearfield County Fair Parade one to remember.

Good Morning!

We’ve been made aware of some false information that has been circulating on social media.

The 165th Clearfield County Fair Parade will still be held Monday evening beginning at 6:00pm. Any updates regarding the status of the fair parade will be posted on this page or on the Clearfield County Fair page.

📌 Lineup is determined by a divisional rotation each year. This has been done for many years before us. This means if you were in the 2nd division last year, you’re in the 1st division this year. 1st division last year, is 2nd division this year.
📌 There are a lot of entries with recorded music. We did our best to separate those entries.
📌 There is, and has been for many years, a 2 firetruck limit for each fire company in the 2 divisions.
📌 We know no one likes being at the end of the parade - but someone has to be there.
📌 If you did not submit an entry form, you may show up the day of the parade. You will be placed at the end of the pre-determined line up.
📌 The CCFP is a family friendly event.
📌 Line Up takes place in downtown Clearfield beginning at 4pm. The parade will promptly start at 6pm.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Past Parade Committee Member Delvia Kumm.

Delvia was a true pillar of our parade for many years, serving as the mastermind behind the First Division during the Sue Lanich parade days to present. Her dedication, organization, and tireless behind-the-scenes work helped shape the parade into what so many of us came to love and expect year after year.

Delvia officially retired from the parade committee following the 2024 parade, but in true Delvia fashion, she still offered her time, guidance, and support as we prepared for the 2025 parade. Her commitment never wavered.

Beyond her service, we are incredibly grateful for Delvia’s humor, wit, and unmistakable personality. She had a way of lightening stressful moments, making people laugh, and reminding everyone why the work mattered. Her presence was felt just as much through her personality as it was through her leadership.

Delvia also proudly served as a member of the Clearfield Fire Department, continuing a lifetime of service to her community.

We are deeply grateful for everything Delvia gave—her time, her leadership, her laughter, and her heart. She will be greatly missed, but her impact and legacy will forever remain part of our parade and our community.
