It is with heavy hearts that the Clear Lake Lions Club announces the passing of our dear friend and fellow Lion, Marvin Sias, on May 26th.

Marvin had been a dedicated member of our club since July 1997. For over 25 years, he was a steady, reliable presence at our meetings and a champion for service in our community. Whether he was rolling up his sleeves for a project or representing our club locally, Marvin lived the Lion motto "We Serve" every single day. Many of us were so grateful to share time with him.

Marvin's commitment to this community and his friendship will be deeply missed. Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences are with his wife, Sandy, and their entire family during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Lion Marvin. Thank you for your decades of service and your wonderful friendship.

We are sorting plastic on Wednesday, May 27, at 4 p.m. at the CLACC. We are meeting in the lobby on the south side of the building (the Premier Complex Gymnastics entrance). Anyone is welcome to join us for an hour. Bring a friend! We really need community support to keep this program going. Together WE SERVE!

Had fun working at the Demo Derby yesterday. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped with the setup/takedown and worked all the shifts! Hope everyone enjoyed our brats and hot dogs.

The Clear Lake Lions Club did Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on May 6. It was a little chilly, but at least it wasn't raining! Thanks so much to the Clear Lake students that helped us with the highway cleanup!

Yesterday this group of high school students helped the Clear Lake Lions Club sort plastic during WRAP. In just 45 minutes, they sorted and bagged 120 pounds of clean plastic. Unbelievable!! Thanks for helping our community keep this plastic out of landfills. Together WE SERVE! Stop by and see the Clear Lake Lions Club today for Milwaukee Tool 𝐃𝐚𝐲! We are serving up fresh brats, hot dogs, beans, and chips until 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌.

The meal is free, but we are accepting donations for a very special cause: Leader Dogs for the Blind. 🐕‍🦺

We have a big goal today—we are looking to break our fundraising record by raising $𝟑𝟓𝟎! Every dollar helps provide independence and mobility to those who are blind or visually impaired.

Check out Josh and Gus, who were training in the store this morning. Gus is in specialized training to become a service dog, and these specially trained dogs make a real difference in people’s lives—assisting with daily tasks, increasing independence, and providing comforting companionship. Their presence in our community is a reminder of how thoughtful caregiving can improve the quality of life for many. 🐾❤️
