CLASS Car Club What began as an idea for a car club in Clear Lake in the early 1980's has grown to become one of the premier Collector car shows in the North Iowa area.

Since hosting their first show in 1984, the Clear Lake Auto Social Society annual car cruise and show has grown substantially over the years to having over 500 participants in 2013. The car show is our largest event and is normally held the first full weekend of August. Join hundreds of car enthusiasts as we cruise around the lake on Friday night of the annual car cruise and show. Then enjoy music

and dancing at the famous Surf Ballroom to cap off a night of entertainment. Whether you enjoy looking at beautiful classic automobiles or are an avid car collector yourself and have a vehicle you would like to display, this is the place to be.

Join us for a full day honoring the enduring legacies of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper with a celebration of the music that changed history.

🎸 11:00 AM – Free public unveiling of three newly donated life-size bronze statues honoring the three rock & roll pioneers.

🚗 The annual CLASS Car Club Cruise returns, traveling around Clear Lake before concluding at the Surf Ballroom.

⭐ 5:00 PM – Legendary entertainer Pat Boone hosts an exclusive VIP Meet & Greet in the The Palms Ballroom and serves as guest judge for the C.L.A.S.S. Car Club Cruise.

🎶 7:45 PM – The "Three Stars Tribute" Album Release Concert featuring Pat Boone, Mario R. Valens, Jimmy Angel, "Sting" Ray Anthony, Ernie Reyes, Sha Na Na's "Downtown" Michael Brown, Jason Gutierrez & The JG3, plus newly added special guest John Mueller!

💃 Following the concert, keep the celebration going with a Sock Hop featuring The Whitesidewalls.

Celebrate the release of Pat Boone's Gold Label "Three Stars Tribute" album and be part of a history-making day at one of America's most important music landmarks.
