CLASS Car Club What began as an idea for a car club in Clear Lake in the early 1980's has grown to become one of the premier Collector car shows in the North Iowa area.

Since hosting their first show in 1984, the Clear Lake Auto Social Society annual car cruise and show has grown substantially over the years to having over 500 participants in 2013. The car show is our largest event and is normally held the first full weekend of August. Join hundreds of car enthusiasts as we cruise around the lake on Friday night of the annual car cruise and show. Then enjoy music

and dancing at the famous Surf Ballroom to cap off a night of entertainment. Whether you enjoy looking at beautiful classic automobiles or are an avid car collector yourself and have a vehicle you would like to display, this is the place to be.

To the admin: I still have overall group page management authority which was temporarily given to me several years ago to post photos from the car cruise. I can post, delete, etc. I should no longer be given this clearance. Please remove this capability as my status with Meta is questionable, and it could have a negative effect on any groups that it believes I manage. Thanks, Chuck Hughes.

Entertainment for the show weekend has been confirmed, Friday night at the Surf will be the legendary "White Sidewalls"! Saturday night in the park we will have "Endless Endeavor " we hope to see you there to enjoy both shows!

We are going to introduce 2 new classes for the 2026 show this year:

the first is all years imports Stock, wheel and radio change is allowed.

second is for all years imports/tuners modified.

I know many have asked for these classes so now here is your chance to bring them out and show them off!
