If cost is the thing standing between your athlete and a combine spot, say so. Families who qualify for free or reduced lunch attend at no cost, self-attested, no paperwork chase. And if your situation does not fit neatly in that box but the money is still the problem, reach out anyway. Scholarship form: wkf.ms/4fSHjM5

No athlete should miss the Combine over cost. The Combine fee is $99 per athlete. If that is out of reach, tell us here and we will work with you. Every application is reviewed confidentially by DistinXion staff. There is no penalty for asking. Because Combine seats cap at 32 per session, we decide....

A few hours left on $49 early bird for September 13 at Country Lake Retreat Center. It closes at 11:59 PM tonight.

If you already know your athlete is coming, register tonight and save the fifty. If you are still deciding, standard pricing stays open right up to the day, and the combine will still be here. Nobody loses a spot at midnight. The only thing that closes tonight is the early rate.

Thirty seconds from Clif Marshall on the only two numbers an athlete cannot change.

Height and wingspan. That is the whole list. Standing vertical, max vertical, the three-quarter court sprint, lane agility, shooting — every one of those moves for an athlete who decides to go to work on it. That is why we measure instead of rank. A ranking tells a kid where they sit. A number tells them what to train.

Testing led by Clif Marshall — NBA Draft Combine and NFL Combine trainer, and eight seasons as Director of Athletic Performance for Indiana men's basketball.

We are not in the business of making basketball players. We are in the business of leading athletes and their families toward their next step in faith, and basketball is how the door gets opened. Character. Leadership. Then the jump shot. Be positively different.

Honestly? We wish we could practice six days a week.

We love this game. Our coaching staff loves competing, and most of us grew up playing in these same Southern Indiana gyms. Several of our coaches went on to play college basketball. Our founder and president, Luke Zeller, grew up in Washington, Indiana and made it to the NBA. He did not get there just on a tournament circuit. He got there on ordinary weekday afternoons, in gyms that look a lot like the ones we practice in. That is the reason four days a week feels like a compromise to us.

Here is what we actually do for 2027. Two skill development workouts a week, close to home, in the Bloomington, Evansville and Southeast Indiana areas. Two team practices a week. Four times a week, and the skill workouts are included in the roster fee. They are not an add-on.

If four sounds like a lot for summer basketball, look at what the sport itself recommends. USA Basketball's own youth development guidebook says foundational athletes should spend 70 percent of their time on individual fundamental training and 30 percent on game competition. Most summer basketball has that backwards.

And look at who is winning. On opening night last season there were 135 international players in the NBA, from 43 countries, the twelfth straight season with more than 100. Four international players have won the last seven MVP awards, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won it again this past season. Those players were developed in systems built around practice, not tournament brackets.

There is a line they use in military training. At the moment of opportunity, you do not rise to the occasion. You sink to the level of your training. That is the entire argument for four days a week. When the college coach is finally in the gym, nobody plays their way into being ready. You are either trained or you are not.

People call that the European way. In Southern Indiana at DistinXion we call it Tuesday. A gym, fundamentals, reps, and a coach who made you do it again. We did not import it. We are refusing to give it up.

Our season runs February through July for our women and March through July for our men, both starting after the high school season ends. Be Positively Different.

Bob Knight coached Indiana for twenty-nine years. In a newspaper column in 1979 he wrote this:

"The will to win has always been grossly overrated as a means of doing so. Everyone wants to win. The will to prepare to win and the ability to prevent losing are of far greater importance."

Every athlete who walks into a combine wants to win. Almost none of them have written down what they are going to work on and why. That is the entire difference, and it is the entire point of the report we hand you. Be positively different.
