The city is still in need of public comment regarding the dog park. As we had been so excited for the development of the park to be completed in 2020, the location near the tracks on Oaks found to be complicated and not a good location after surveys were complete.
The new location is just past the Warrior before the cemetery.
Once this is complete we believe it will compliment the cemetery nicely with, eventually, having full restroom facilities.
so please send an email to Lucy so that she could read it into the minutes during the council meeting.

This is great news. As the Dog park's location got closer to construction they found that it was not a proper location and the city has found a much better site with greater long term potential. As in some day having a full restroom, this new location has access to water and sewer. Please attend the city council meeting Monday July 13th 6 pm.

What can I say....... The Dog Days of Fall was a wonderfully successful event, especially for its first one. Numbers are still being crunched, stay tuned for that.
The weather turned out great and the pups had a blast. I think the owners had just as much fun. Thank you all! We will be doing this again!
