Birth Flower Watercolor Workshop
July 18 and 19, 2026
Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Instructor: Andrea Tharian

Have you heard of a birth flower? Similar to gemstones, each month has a corresponding birth flower or flowers, often tied to the season when they bloom.
Over the course of two days, students will learn how to paint their birth flower and an arrangement of flowers unique to the birth month of loved ones. Referencing photographs, students will learn how to create depth using a series of washes, line thicknesses and color intensity.

Beginners and students with more watercolor experience are both welcome. Andrea will provide step-by-step instruction on painting various flowers, as well as templates that can be used for drawing.

Member $100 | Non-member $150

Starting this month! Snag a spot now!

Cut, Rearrange, Reveal: Drawing & Collage
June 24 - August 5, 2026
Wednesdays, 6 weeks, 6-8:30PM
Instructor: James Hendricks

This class is designed for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their drawing practice. We’ll start with foundational drawing exercises focused on observation, line, and value to build confidence and comfort. Students will work from simple references to develop drawings that feel complete but not overly refined. Students are encouraged to bring their own images to draw from, this will allow the work to become more personal and engaging for the artist!
From there, we’ll introduce collage techniques including cutting, rearranging, and layering. Students will begin altering their own drawings as well as working with printed imagery to explore new compositions.

The goal is to move beyond perfection and learn how to work more flexibly. By physically changing and rebuilding images, students will discover new ways of seeing and making. This process encourages both structure and experimentation, making it accessible for beginners while still engaging for more experienced students. By the end of the course, students will have a small body of work that combines drawing and collage, along with a stronger understanding of composition, value, and creative process.

Member $160 | Non-member $210

True North by CB Adams
Ramp Gallery
June 12 - July 18, 2026
Opening Reception: June 12, 2026 | 6:30-8 pm

True North begins with a return. For more than fifteen years, I’ve walked North St. Louis, following light, form, and what remains as the landscape shifts. Many of these places now exist only in these prints. I feel that most in the darkroom, bringing the image forward while knowing the place itself has already slipped away. My great-grandmother lived in the neighborhood anchored by St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, and that history still holds in the streets and structures that remain. True North reflects a way of seeing that stays steady, unsentimental, and open to what persists.
