On June 18, 2007, a massive fire engulfed the Sofa Superstore in Charleston. Dr. David Griffin was the young driver of the very first engine on the scene. That night, nine of his brothers never made it out. The impact was devastating!
David wasn’t just anyone. He was a Citadel graduate, a competitive bodybuilder, a cyclist, and a badass MMA fighter. He was as tough as they come. But that tragedy broke him. If the darkness can come calling for a man like that, it can come for anyone.
He survived the aftermath. He got his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, recently retired as a Charleston Fire Chief, and made it his absolute mission to help you survive, too.
On behalf of Paddling for Pennies, Dr. Griffin is coming to the Raleigh area to give you real, hard-hitting tools for your mental toolbox. This is about building the resilience you need before the darkness comes calling. If you don't need this for yourself, you need it for the crew member sitting right next to you who might be silently drowning in crisis.
This exclusive event is open to all active and retired Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Dispatch, Medical Professionals, Corrections, Military, and their spouses. Due to the raw and honest nature of this talk, no one under 16 will be admitted.
