Guyana Hope

Together we can make a difference. Why Guyana? It's about the people. We just saw the need and did all within our power and resources to fill the need.

We have never counted dollars...we have never sought the applause or acclaim of man...never considered the inconvenience and hardships of ministry in a developing nation and never thought of the reasons why something could not be done. Robert Kennedy once said, "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were and ask why not?"

These are the heroes! The ladies of Maranatha Assembly of God in Bounty Hall. Faithfully cooking each week so 200 school children will have a wholesome meal. Thank you Pastor Ravi and Sis. Shanti for your continued ministry to the children.
And you too are a hero! Why? Because your giving to Guyana Hope makes possible our continued partnership with our brethren.

Covid-19 is responsible for shutting down a lot of things but it cannot shut down the gospel. It cannot stop God's people from being generous and reaching out to the less fortunate. What a privilege to partner with the kind and generous folks at Maranatha Assembly of God in Bounty Hall, Essequibo Coast. Under the leadership of Pastor Ravi Sookraj the church is providing hampers to families in need.
We may not can go in person at this time but we still pray and give. If you would like to help provide a hamper the cost is 25.00 (US) Message us and we will let you know how you may give and make a difference in others lives.

Yesterday one of our Guyana Hope members who made a lot of trips to Guyana and touched many people went to be with the Lord Yesterday. Maxine Strickland was a long time supporter of Guyana Hope through her prayers, time, ministry and donations. Today we fill empty with her death, but she gave us so much hope. Today the mission continues. Even though the Covid 19 pandemic has shut down many countries it has not shut down the gospel. Even though it may not be possible to travel as of yet Guyana Hope still has a presence in Guyana through local pastors who are committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We may not can go at this time but we can pray and continue to give.
