The Morristown School District team did a fabulous job of entertaining the crowd at Punkin Chunkin with their long distance throws yesterday!

Congratulations to the Rockets on a great trebuchet design and winning first place yesterday 🏆

Their throwing distance combined with the awesome 991 lbs of food (in food or money donations) put them in first place this year.

Morristown students have been building a trebuchet since the start of the school year. The device is designed to launch pumpkins.

This is what 1,024 pounds of food looks like!

We are SO proud of how much support each of our five youth teams, including the Watertown Scoop District, raised in booth food and money donations for their own local food pantries 👏

Tomorrow is the big day!

Come cheer on all the teams in the youth division of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Punkin Chunkin event whose score for their trebuchet is not JUST about the distance the pumpkins are thrown into the River, but also about how many pounds of food and money they have collected for their local food pantry.

You can still help YOUR team by donating leading up to the event - 🔗 is in our bio the donate 💰

We are SO proud of the fundraising efforts each of the youth teams for the Youth Punkin Chunkin event (11am on Saturday!) have done in addition to getting their trebuchets ready. Some have done fundraising drives in school, some online, and some a combination of both. All of it makes for amazing community support for our local food pantries.

There is still time to donate to support one of the local four youth teams. Each dollar donated goes toward their overall fundraising total and is donated to their local food pantry after the event.

One week until pumpkins fly in the Youth Punkin Chunkin division as part of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce event 🎃

Be sure to come cheer on the local youth teams at 11 am as they put their designs to the test!

You can help support your favorite youth team by donating food OR making a donation (🔗 in bio) as their score in the competition is their distance times the food and money donated. Every $1 counts as 1 lb of food in the calculation.

World Polio Day is coming up and ALL donations to the Clayton Rotary Club and other Rotary International clubs during this fundraising effort are *doubled* by the Gates Foundation 👏

You can donate in person at the dates listed at Kinney’s Drugs in Clayton or using the donation 🔗 in our bio

Did you know that while worldwide polio cases have decreased by 99.9% since the initiative began in 1988, the disease has still not been eradicated 🤔 Here is your chance to help make that happen.

📣 Only 2 weeks until Punkin Chunkin 🎃

The teams in the youth division compete by multiplying the distance their trebuchet throws by the pounds of food they donate and the dollars donated to our local food pantries on behalf of their team.

Whether you are attending the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Punkin Chunkin event or not, you can get in on the competition to help our youth teams!
