I'm not gonna lie, we need some help.

Rescue is really hard right now:
Donations are down,
Medical expenses are up,
Corporate funding is being funneled into big box rescues, while they still leave the most vulnerable behind,
Supplies are decreasing,

We are drowning, and we're asking for some help again!!!!
We want tomorrow to be a better day.

Sad week for us.
I know the video ended abruptly, I did the best I could holding it together until I couldn't.

They were dumped in a bin in a rural Merced orchard. Today, Astra and Luna are ready for forever homes.

These bright, happy girls deserved so much better from the start. Thankfully, they were found in time. Now they are safe, loved, and ready to begin their next chapter with families of their own. 💛

Astra and Luna are smart, high-energy puppies who are learning their manners and already listening to commands. We believe they may be Chihuahua/Cattle Dog mixes. They are still working on potty training, so their new families should be ready to keep helping them learn.

They are great with other dogs and children. They may live with a cat who understands puppy energy, but they will need patient, proper training and supervision around cats.

Puppies are a joyful commitment: they need time, consistency, exercise, and continued training as they grow. Could Astra or Luna be your new best friend?

Hey County employees.

Tax ID number 26-4258247

Give me 30 seconds to explain.

Contra Costa County Combined Charities campaign is circulating, that is sign ups for a monthly draw out of your check to go to a non-profit in need.

Unfortunately the nonprofits that are allowed to be on the list are thriving nonprofit many with PAID staff, and the little ones who really need the money are not on the list.

However there's good news, because us little guys have to be more creative to get what we need, there's a section where you can check and write in a non-profit, this section is called the DONORS CHOICE section.

This is where a little goes a long way. I have several friends who donate 10 to $25 a month they never notice it's gone out of their check and right to ebarr. Consider this gift......

The animals thank you...... And the money never goes into our pockets.

Please note:
1.We do not know the breed of these babies yet
2. Adoption fee will be 600.00 each due to being mixed with Brachycephalic breed and the costs associated. Please remember we are an independent rescue that has to pay for everything out of pocket, we are not a big box rescue , and we definitely don't get government funding. (And to be honest , if this is a problem for you , then you are not the right people to adopt from us. Please value the people that are doing the hard work behind the scenes , the right way.)
3. Insurance is required upon adoption.

If you are not looking to adopt and still want to help, We are in need of puppy pads for these babies. Amazon link below.
