Otto came to cheer on our favorite team together. It was a great Heroes Family Night with our incredible veteran leaders and their families.

We visited with our Veterans of Foreign Wars Dept of Washington friends and more, all out for a great night at the ballpark.

Important Update Regarding Operations:

Heroes Homestead and One Mission have recently been in contact with the Spokane Tribe, who verified that they have no affiliation with Amy Calkin and her group, Beautiful Skys for Spokane Fire Relief.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are working to clarify these individuals' affiliations and ensure the safety of our One Mission programs, our volunteers, and the fire-affected communities we serve. We are actively navigating the appropriate civil processes with the Spokane Police Department and Stevens County Sheriff to resolve this matter safely.

Consequently, all volunteer operations are suspended for today and throughout the weekend. We appreciate your patience and support as we prioritize the security of everyone involved.

One Mission is building momentum toward long term sustainable impact for the community affected by fires.

One Mission: BE Home is only for fire victims and partners must volunteer and join the effort of relief. This is not a free storage space indefinitely. Items and donations are for the community of fire victims only. We are a distribution center.

*Verification of affected address and identity required to receive support.

*Partners MUST verify they are serving fire victims and follow all protocols and forms for transparency. Inquire for details.

⏰ Time: Can you sign up for a 2 hour volunteer shift one day a week or one day a month?
Could your group or team take a day together?

🛋️ Supplies: We are collecting NEW or very gently used Coats, Winter Items and Room Heaters and Blankets

🎄 Starting October 1- November 15, we will collect artificial Christmas Trees, can you start a drive at your church, club or team?

Friends of Heroes, we need some patient volunteers to help this afternoon and evening to move items from the community center to the warehouse, and to help clean the floors at the community center. If you have an hour to spare, we can plug you in!

Vehicles with trunk space, or trucks help. Helping hands to sweep help too!

UPDATE: Due to a need for more volunteers, we will not be able to hand out at the VA today, but need to complete deliveries to our waitlist. Link below to apply for aid. Please double check that your delivery address is CORRECT when typing it in. This helps our teams tremendously.

Good morning Spokane Veterans! If you were affected by fires, we are suppling simple everyday goods at the VA this week. Simply show your residential address impacted by fires, and pick up dog food for your service animal, grab a laundry basket of fresh towels and toiletries. We also have meal gift cards.
