This kid worked hard and earned his FFA Hoosier Degree! This is the highest honor a member can receive from the state FFA Association and recognizes members for their work in their Supervised Agricultural Experience, their community, and their chapter. Congrats to Jarvis Ludwig!! Thanks to his mother for joining us for a celebration dinner and the ceremony last night.

State Winner!! 🥇 Lillianna Sullivan has won The Agriculture Education CDE Contest at The 97th Indiana FFA State Convention!! This was no small feat, Lillianna has been working at this for three years, and it just goes to show you that the future is unwritten, all you have to do is take that step forward, show up and step up to make it something remarkable. ( Thanks Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith for the inspiring speech today!)
Lillianna had to develop a lesson plan relating to a specific standard, and then implement it with a class of 15 "students" in front of several judges, one of which was Dr. Allen Talbert, who was the Director of Ag Education at Purdue! Great Job Lillianna, now we prep for the national contest!

State Level LDE/CDE Contests took place on Tuesday at the Indiana FFA State Convention. We can't wait to find out the winners, but for now we had some advance to the Top Four in the State!

Ag Education CDE - Lillianna Sullivan TOP FOUR!

Congrats also to Edison Moeller for competing in Discovery Extemporaneous Public Speaking!

Congrats also to Brookley Bell and Elli Charleswood for competing in Ag Farm Business Management Demonstration!

Our chapter also participated in A Million Meals Community Service Project and were able to help pack 40,000 meals that will be distributed throughout the state along with other chapters from across the state!

We even brought home over 200 meals for The Hendricks County Senior Center!

We are proud to recognize the Top 10 Agricultural Education Lesson Plan competitors!

Earlier this month, these individuals submitted lesson plans that demonstrated creativity, innovation, and a passion for agricultural education. After careful evaluation, they have advanced as the top 10 competitors.

These members will now present their lessons in front of a mock classroom, with final placings announced at the 97th Indiana FFA State Convention. Congratulations to each of these outstanding individuals!
