At TIERS, we’re not just coworkers, we’re a family (a bit of a dysfunctional one for sure, but whose isn’t?🤣)!❤️

We’re especially excited for TIERS members Earl and Haily, who will be welcoming their baby girl in the coming weeks! 🩷👶

You may know Haily as our CPR Coordinator. She has taught many of our CPR classes and has helped countless members of our community learn the skills needed to save a life. Today, we had the chance to celebrate her and Earl as they prepare for their newest adventure.

Our TIERS family put together a small baby shower this afternoon, filled with plenty of love, laughter, and well wishes for the growing family.

Congratulations, Earl and Haily! We can’t wait to meet your little one! 🎀🍼

Please join us in congratulating Registered Nurse Mary Peters on her retirement after 40 years of service and dedication to the community!

After starting her career in pediatrics, Mary has been a constant in the chaos of the Samaritan Medical Center Emergency Room for the last 30 years, most recently leading her team as ED Charge Nurse. Today, she is working her final shift.

Our crews at TIERS have transferred thousands of patients to her over the years, and she has been an incredible partner to the entire EMS community. Her dedication, professionalism, compassion, and friendship have made a lasting impression on all of us!

Congratulations on your retirement, Mary! We wish you all the best in this exciting new chapter.

Are you missing a kitten? Our crew found this sweet baby this morning in downtown Clayton! One of our members will bring the kitty to get scanned for a chip tomorrow if no owner is found! We would love to have a station kitty but this one looks like it already has a home. 🩷

TIERS is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Director of Operations to join our leadership team.

This is an important leadership position responsible for helping oversee the day-to-day operations of TIERS, including staffing, scheduling, personnel development, training, quality improvement, equipment readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination.

The Director of Operations will work closely with TIERS personnel, management, partner agencies, hospitals, and our community to ensure we continue providing safe, professional, and reliable emergency medical services.

This is a hands-on EMS leadership position. The successful candidate should be prepared to lead by example, support our crews, address operational challenges, and step into the field when needed.

All of us at TIERS wish to congratulate our Director of Operations, Nathan Peters on accepting a position with LifeNet of New York as a Flight Paramedic!

We want to recognize and thank Nate for his dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to TIERS. As our Director of Operations, Nate has been pivotal to the success of our organization, providing invaluable leadership, guidance, and support to our team and operations.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and expertise Nate has given to TIERS. While we’re excited to see him take on a new opportunity, we’re even more excited that he won’t be going too far.

Though he is resigning as Director of Operations, Nate will continue to be part of the TIERS family as a part-time paramedic. He will also continue assisting our organization with IT services, allowing us to benefit from his knowledge and expertise in another important area.

We are excited for Nate as he begins this next chapter and look forward to continuing to have him as part of our team in his new roles. Nate’s final day as Operations Director will be Sept. 20th. Be sure to congratulate him if you see him around!
