OneCompassion Our mission is to Glorify God by impacting and developing people to build up our local community in Johnston County, NC. OneCompassion is that solution.

We’re here for the individuals and families who are trying to get by, but need a temporary solution to keep from falling behind. We are ordinary people working to make an extraordinary impact among our community. Our members and volunteers live in and around the Clayton area, and each is passionate about bridging the gap in Johnston county. Our focus is to share the message of God’s love by meeting the needs of His people. We’re excited to continue growing this ministry and to build upon the strengths of our community!

A look back at OCFest! 🙌
From enjoying food and shopping with local vendors to singing along with HopeFront Music, Temple City Worship, and Vertical Worship, we loved spending the afternoon with you.

Thank you to HopeFront Church for hosting us, the vendors and volunteers who made it possible, and everyone who came out to support OneCompassion and our upcoming Holiday Ministry. We’re grateful for each of you!

We’re so grateful to HIS Radio for choosing to spotlight OneCompassion as part of their October Community Heartbeat feature! Our founder, Jaclyn Smith, had the opportunity to share more about the heart behind OneCompassion, our upcoming OCFest, and how our Holiday Ministry is working to bring hope and the love of Jesus to families in our community this Christmas.

OCFest Volunteers Needed! 💜

OCFest is almost here, and we still have several volunteer spots to fill! We need your help on Sunday, October 11, at HopeFront Church in Clayton as we welcome our community for an afternoon of worship.

Several roles and shift times are available. If you’re able to serve, please sign up today so we can make sure every area is covered. We’d be grateful to have you on our team!

Our 2026 Holiday Ministry family adoptions are officially open! ❤️

Each Christmas, we have the privilege of coming alongside families in need throughout Johnston County. Through clothing, Christmas gifts, and household essentials, we can help meet practical needs while sharing the love of Jesus and reminding families that they are seen, supported, and not forgotten.

We partner with local school social workers to identify families and gather their sizes, wish lists, and specific needs. You can receive your family’s list and shop using your own funds, or donate the funds for OneCompassion to shop for you. You can also choose to personally deliver to your family or let our team handle delivery.

Adopting a family is a financial commitment, with a minimum of $100 in clothing and $50 in gifts per child, plus $50 per family for household needs.

Whether you join as an individual, family, church, or business, we invite you to help us be the hands and feet of Christ this Christmas. Our hope is that every family would experience His love through the care and kindness of their community.

As we begin this season of ministry, please join us in praying for the families we’ll serve and everyone involved. We pray that each family would be blessed and encounter the hope, love, and joy of Jesus Christ.
