Another huge success at the annual Auxiliary Chili Cook-Off! thank you to all that entered a pot of they're finest...
Top 3 prize awards went to--

1st place Jimmer Larkins (so now we have to listen to his bragging all year)

2nd place Donna Jenness

3rd place Dan Mereau

Congratulations to these 3 and all who entered to help the Auxiliary in there Citizenship award proceeds.

Auxiliary Unit 821 will meet on Thursday, March 19th, 2026.
5:30 p.m.

* We will be selecting a slate of officers to be voted on in April. If you are interested in running for an office please attend the meeting.
*February Lottery Raffle winner was Billy Bristol.
*Next raffle- Sunday, March 29th, after the Queen of Hearts drawing. Tickets are $20 for 4 to the first 25 people for a total of 100 tickets. The winner will receive $100 worth of NYS Lottery Scratch-Off Tickets and a $100 Bill.

**Our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off will be held on Saturday, April 18th. Enter your famous chili. Arrive 11am – 12pm. Tasting to start at 12pm. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Sign up by April 10th at the Post. Proceeds will benefit the 2026 “Citizenship Award” given to a graduating TICSD Senior in June.

***The Unit has a “March Madness” Raffle with donated items of Syracuse memorabilia. Tickets are $5.00 each with the drawing to be held April 4th. Proceeds will go to the “Citizenship Award”.

****The 10th Annual Spring Akwesasne Mohawk Casino bus trip will be held on Sunday, April 26th. The bus leaves Clayton Cerow Arena at 8am with a pick-up in Alexandria Bay at the former Big M parking lot at 8:30am. Arrival at the casino is approximately 10am with departure at 4pm. Tickets are $45.00 per person and includes bingo on the bus trip to the casino, a “goodie bag”, 50/50 raffle, $25.00 free play and 240 meal points from the casino. Return time to Alexandria Bay at 6pm and Clayton at 6:30pm. Contact Melissa Driffill if interested, 315-408-7778. Limited to 56 people.

Dues should have been paid by January 1st.

The winners of the Lottery Raffle for the month of January were Dan & Melissa Driffill. The next raffle will be held on Sunday, February 22nd. Tickets are $20 for 4 to the first 25 people for a total of 100 tickets. The winner will receive $100 worth of NYS Lottery Scratch-Off Tickets and a $100 Bill.

Our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off is still in the planning stages and will be scheduled sometime in late March or early April.

The Unit also has a “March Madness” raffle. Donations of Syracuse Orange items are still being accepted. If you have something that you would like to donate you can contact Melissa Driffill at (315) 408-7778 or drop items off at the Post in Clayton.

The next Akwesasne Mohawk Casino bus trip will be held on Sunday, April 26th. More details to follow next month.
