Uplift exists to build a base of supporters that provide resources to OMFCA that enables the orphans at OMFCA to flourish as Christian, interdependent citizens of Haiti and Heaven.

🚗The boys are getting trained

A skilled mechanic will train a few of the older boys at the orphanage, and a good friend of Pastor’s before he moves to another city. This will be an investment in the boy’s skills and help the orphanage.

This friend has blessed the orphanage as a friend, and with his help in repairing their vehicle.

🚛Preparing to move

We’ve put down a deposit on a new house in a different area, but we still need to raise $35,000 by July 1st to secure it for a year.

Rent is one of the biggest expenses that the orphanage has, like many of us.

It is always a large amount of money to raise, and honestly, it feels scary.

Here’s the short version 👇

Our organization exists for one reason: to provide financial and prayerful support to a Haitian-led orphanage in Haiti.

They rely on our fundraising to pay for pretty much everything they need to care for the kids in their care.

Here’s the longer version 👇

In 2011, a husband and wife in Haiti looked around after the catastrophic earthquake and hurricane and saw kids living on the street one year later.

That’s when they knew that God was calling them to find a way to care for these kids.

That’s when they quit their day jobs to open an orphanage.

What started with just a couple of kids has grown to 14 kids, the majority of them being there for more than five years.

Our organization started as one church’s seasonal support, and grew into a nonprofit.

We are here to fundraise for the orphanage’s needs, including: monthly expenses, rent, educational expenses, transportation, and more!

The biggest news is that the orphanage has to move by June. Which, came as a big surprise!

Since November we’ve celebrated Gods provision over so many things, and now asking God for more provision and guidance.

It’s a simple ask, but if you’re new to our organization you might want some more information.

We are a US based nonprofit whose full focus is sourcing new supporters to help us care for an orphanage in Haiti.

As a small organization the Lord has allowed us to do big things because of generous supporters.

Right now we need to raise $20,000 in two months so the orphanage can pay for rent in a new rental.
