Way to go Pack Cub Scout Pack 400!
Scouting for Food has officially "turned" 40, and we couldn’t be more proud of the generations of who have carried this service-minded tradition forward.
What began in St. Louis in 1985 has grown into a nationwide effort - powered by Y O U T H.
Every year, Scouts of all ages - Cub Scouts, members of , Sea Scouts, those in Venturing, members of Exploring and Scouting America Volunteers, families and leaders - work to combat hunger in their own communities.
This initiative doesn’t just feed families - it builds character.
teaches young people what it means to be a servant leader - in action. It's a collective, nationwide effort that impacts local communities and represents the values strives to instill: citizenship, helpfulness, kindness and compassion.
Whether your unit participates in Scouting for Food in the fall, in the spring or during another part of the year, YOU are feeding the hungry. YOU are helping worried families - in your own backyard - have a meal on the table. YOU are making a positive, invaluable, tangible difference.
