When you are really parched!
Boomer: "I'll let you know when I'm done."

Volunteer: "Are you finished yet?"

Boomer: continues drinking

Volunteer: "Seriously?"

Boomer: takes another sip

Progress happens one ride, one lesson, and one moment at a time.

Here's a quick peek at some of our horses and their schoolers doing what they do best! From groundwork to riding sessions, inside the arena and out, there is always something new to learn.

We have an incredible group of dedicated schoolers who work hard with our horses and support one another along the way. Watching both horse and human grow in confidence and understanding is pretty special.

Every horse has a story, and we're helping them write their next chapter. Maybe that chapter includes YOU!

Look at our handsome Currahee enjoying some time outside with his schoolers, Ellen and Sam!

Currahee is a big, sweet boy with a personality just as wonderful as he is. He's continuing to learn and grow with his schoolers while he waits for that special person to come along and call him their own.

Until his forever home finds him, you can help be part of his journey! Would you consider welcoming Currahee into your Circle of Care? Your support helps make sure he's loved, cared for, and given everything he needs while he waits for his next chapter.

Every horse deserves someone in their corner. Could Currahee be yours?

Our amazing maintenance crew — Mike Tebo, Robert Young, Rich Hoffman, Gary Schapp, Ed Swiderski, and Joyce Florczykowski — was busy finishing up Run-In #7 for the herd when Volunteer Robert discovered our newest guest… a PRAYING MANTIS!

We provide housing for horses, but apparently, word is getting out that Sunshine offers excellent accommodations for critters of all sizes!

So, what do you think? Should we give this little guy a name? Does he deserve his own sponsor in our Circle of Care?

Drop your name suggestions below! We may need to start a whole new sponsorship program!

P.S. Our horses would like to remind everyone that they still need sponsors, too!

A 'little' horse magic goes a long way!

Piglet and Indy had a wonderful visit at Elderwood at Liverpool, leaving behind smiles, laughter, and a little extra sunshine in everyone's day.

We are so lucky to have these two tiny ambassadors sharing the love and reminding us that sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.

Annabelle, one of our Fab 4, is slowly beginning to learn that she can trust, that she is safe, and that she’s going to be okay.

She still has a long way to go, but for a horse like Annabelle, these little steps are HUGE. Trust doesn’t happen overnight, and we’ll let Annabelle find her way at her own pace. Sometimes the biggest victories aren’t the ones everyone can see.
