It is with great sadness that Sunshine Horses is announcing the cancellation of the Kentucky Derby Gala for May 2, 2020. We have rescheduled the Gala for next year, May 1, 2021 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino where we will have the opportunity to watch the 147th Kentucky Derby and enjoy all of excitement that we had planned for this year! We hope this page helps to get you excited about watching this year’s Kentucky Derby! The hats, celebrities, and most of all the horses!

We invite you to join us for the Second Annual Kentucky Derby Gala to raise money for the horses like those at the Kentucky Derby! Most of our horses at Sunshine Horses, were harness racehorses, and now need some help while waiting for their forever homes! We are using this platform to not only help raise money for our retired racehorses and others, but to educate those not in the industry about what happens to some of the horses when they are no longer racing.

Join us at the Turning Stone Resort Casino as we watch the iconic 146th Kentucky Derby while enjoying pictures with one of our own retired racehorses, cocktails, dinner, baskets, games and more. 100% of the proceeds from our Gala will go to the support and care of over 30 horses at our Sunshine Horses facility!
